Well I just spent a few hours washing my MGM truck for the first time .
And it's a really good thing grey looks great clean . Or I'd never wash it again .
That's a lot of grey paint to get spotless .
Wash , rinse , dry of water spots .
    Spray wax detailer .
And I've already got scratches on passenger side finder and driver's side where I climb on tire to get into bed I guess .
    Dam Texas belt buckle .
On the wat wa work thursday it was raining and state was grinding those drunk bumps into asphalt .
Had ground asphalt on everything in sight .
Thick was white when I got off work and had dried .
We do have a high pressure wash in parking lot with 8 jets jhat spray vehicle off we can drive through .
I usually go through it before work and after .
I did talk to a local company Friday that applies nano ceramic coatings to paint and glass . Glantz I think was there name .
    Price doesn't seem bad . $400 coat truck . That's one coat . $400 for every coat after .
I think one coat was a 2-3 year warranty .
After washing it today I think I'll call them back Monday and see when I can drop it off .
Now I'm going soak my bad shoulder on ice .lol

I looked up the glantz co . And they look to be a national company . I believe the guy that accually ownes the local one works at chemical plant next to Goodyear chemical where I work.
I've talked with the wife and I'm going to call them Monday and set up a day to drop it off .
My f250 has been in shop for work before I sell it . So I guess I can drive it while tundra is getting coated .

When I talked to the owner of detail shop he told me washing wouldn't bother his work.
They wash , clay bar twice . Rewash . Compound wax . Re claybar . De contaminate . Ceramic coat . Then buff three times .
    Lots of work for $400

Good looking truck. If you don't like washing all that truck through in a cap to the mix adds a little more paint to wash.:D

I did rodeo a little in highschool like a lot of my friends did .
It was fun . But not any good at it .
I've had 5 spinal reconstruction surgery's .right Shoulder rotator surgery . Knee replacement . And now need left rotator done .
    I have 3 screws in shoulder .
8 rods and 10 screws on back.
Bottom 5 disc in spine fused together .
Been under anesthesia 26 times .
So an 8 hour day of welding is about all I do anymore .
Oldest son is in last semester of college . He rodeo'd in school .
Had knee replacement and one back surgery .
Youngest son is in second year of college . Played baseball all his life as a catcher . Shoulder rotator surgery his senior year .
If I can get them out of college I'll feel like all my painful days welding were worth it.
