I have a '14 Tundra SR5. I have wear on the outer edge of the bottom left seat cushion. (I guess my short legs caused my butt to drag across too many times getting in and out.) Is anyone confident if I can swap bottoms with the passenger? I don't care about what you did with your 1972 Pinto seats - I don't have a Pinto. Anyone know on a '14 Tundra? If yes, any precautions with the airbags or other concerns? Any tips?

The driver and passenger side seat bottom cushions and covers are not interchangeable. The cushions have different part numbers and the attachment clips are side specific. Are you wanting to replace them both or just the cover?

I looked into doing this for a bit. The cheapest route is to look on eBay for a take off set. Some people redo the interior with leather etc. and then sell the lightly used ones. The dealer will charge you like $500 per piece brand new. From what I’ve heard it’s not really a diy install

Thank you all for the replies. I'd be ok with just the cover if that is the most economical route. I will also do an Ebay search. Thanks.

A good interior guy might be able to cut and replace some of the foam to match the side with less wear too.

you could add a piece of thinner foam to that side to build it up a bit.

couple years ago I got brand new take off cloth interior for a crew max on eBay for $200 or so.

the seat bottom foam is around $160 iirc.

Thanks for the info. The foam is fine. The cloth is my concern, cosmetic wise and progressively getting worse. I'll search for a cover on Ebay. Thanks!
