Do you have documentation or pictures to show how you wired the spot lights and front turn signals/driving lights and where you tied them into your trucks wiring harness.

recently bought a set of aftermarket tow mirrors off of Ebay. I have installed them and everything works great except for the front Driving/Marker lights. There is a pin on the new mirrors that powers the LEDs but my truck mirror harness does not have a wire running to that pin. I want to run an extra wire and tie it into my DRL lights but am having difficulty finding the correct circuit to tap into under my dash. Has anyone run into this before? I don't really care if they are turn signals I just want them on when my running lights are lit up.

Nice. Want these for my 2017 CM Limited.
Can you confirm all the electrical functions of the factory units work on the Trail Ridge?
    Ease of installation?

Yes all the Factory functions work as they should. Installation is fairly simple.Plug and play for those that have Factory BSM.

How did you wired the new replacement DRLs? I'd like to see some pictures of them installed if you have a chance?

    Thanks man.

The mirrors are much better in my opinion,I used a kit from boostauto that makes the front blinkers into running lights as well, other than that they are plug and play!FF1DA9BB-47DF-49C5-9E35-317C94996FCB.jpg

Thanks! I saw the comment about clipping the purple wire to remove BSM. Was it a pain to get those backup lights wired up on the face of the mirror?

Oh good idea. So with the amber LED wired up as daytime running lights, the blinker still functions it just lights up brighter?

The mirrors we are talking about in this thread are plug and play as far as the main functionality goes, all you have to wire is the reverse lights which is two wires!

Did you try this? If so what wires did you hook to? I was trying to use the two wire clip that came with the mirrors instead of buying a harness.

I have the a1 tow mirrors for Tundra - technically I have two sets of them. First set was without BSM (for my '14) tundra - second set is with the BSM for my 2018 limited (same ones Idale posted). I like that the bottom portion of the mirror is adjustable vertically and horizontally (and I like the smoked outter light look). Yes, I agree that the other mirrors may look a bit nicer, but function is what I'm about. No wind noise issuess either. The other sets you guys are hooking up are definitely flashy though. I pull a 24' camper and needed them... Now I just have too many, ha! I'm not a car wire/electric guy, but the guys who took this job on definitely got a flashy upgrade! Nice!

No noise. Just pissed I can't figure out how to hook up DRLs and Spots. Pissing me off and seller on ebay just shrugs and says they have no idea. They are super stable, even at 85+.

You are going to have to tie into the the original drl wire on the mirror plug on the door side!658AB997-7655-44F9-A5BB-545CB946E4D3.jpg594A6CC3-7882-4D8C-A01A-A6E95419F7CB.jpg

The GM mirrors look a little mismatched to me. Maybe it's just because I know they are GM. I'm sticking with the BSM Trail Ridges since I'm used to the manual OEMs. Just ordered tonight.

Sold them to another member from this site, otherwise I would have. He ended up doing a puddle light install on them (and write up also) -- they turned out pretty awesome! I realize the trail ridges may not be as flashy compared to the GM style posted, but I truly have no buyers remorse. They work well/no wind noise and fit the truck style IMO. Hope you find a set on here (as I've been lucky enough to already get a few great buys from this site as long as you keep eyes peeled).

It came with a little two wire whip and no wiring diagram and when i tried to tap into power with the plug in i had no luck. So I tapped the grey wire on the mirror side of the plug... And then i ran it to the power on the window switch. It was the yellow wire on the LH switch and the white w/black stripe on the RH switch. So when auto lights kick on DRLs draw power from the light that comes on, on my window switch.
