Has anyone here run a quarter mile on a dragstrip with their Tundra? I've googled it, say it runs about a 15 second quarter mile time. I was thinking of running mine at a local dragstrip on street legal night.

My best was 15.22 @90 mph. Could not cut a good light, those tall front tires! Air was ok not great and I had a ton of crap in the bed and a half full gas tank! Seems funny not to have a helmet on!

Tried 2wd and 4wd, no difference! On the launch, tried bringing up the rpms but the brakes could not hold it and would pull me thru the lights, RED! Best time was in drive and hitting the gas on the 3rd bulb, made about 6 passes.

So no wheel spin in 2wd? I guess track prep helps.

You can deep stage next time (turn off the top bulb of the pre stage lights, by rolling fwd once both lights are lit) Deep staging will slow the et a bit but you will be able to cut a light.
