No issues at all. You do have to drop the skid just a bit so you can secure a bolt through the frame right around the sway bar. If you have bigger hands you’ll probably have to drop the entire skid.

also demello states that they can’t guarantee it will work with tss sensor but it is definitely working with mine. Not sure if my results are typical but in 3 weeks I’ve only received 2 dirty sensor errors both times I think the sensor was actually dirty

The quicksand will always have a place in my heart. I always wanted a pro and with this being the last year of the current gen that I love plus the crazy trade in prices that were offered a while back it was an easy decision to get into this truck.

Dang it, there's another bumper to consider. I love how they have one without the baja bar... How was the install? Their website says "minor" body mods may be required...curious if it was a straight up install or of you had to trim/cut/grind anything....

It was a very straight forward install. Doesn’t come with instructions at all but they honestly aren’t needed. 8 bolts on the front bumper, 2 bolts through the frame and two more where your tow hooks go. The only modification I made was popping the plugs in the frame.

How is the winch installed? Is there a separate plate for it or did you mount the winch onto the bumper first and then the bumper onto the truck?

The winch is Mounted onto the bumper, then the bumper to the frame. Relocated the control box to the opening for ease of access too

Sweet! About to pull the trigger. I've got the Demello sliders too - I put them to work and they've taken the beating really well.

Is it possible to install the lights (bar/pods) after the bumper is installed?

The fogs yes. The light bar no. You will need to pull the bumper to access the mounts

congrats on your purchase as well

Very easy install, my only advice would be to wait till after you have your winch line spooled up tight and properly on the drum before you put your grill back on. I back down a hill and put truck in neutral with front window dawn and truck running so as I was spooling in I could turn the steering wheel left or right depending what direction I wanted the cable to go.

The bracket they offer to relocate the winch box is great. I didn’t get many pics because was in a time crunch.

Took the bottom factory tow hooks off because my truck being a limited it did not come with a front skid plate so it looks kind of funky with no front end skid plate but one on the bottom. Also bought a couple of 3/4” shackles for the bumper later , all I had in my bag was the one shown and 1” ones from previous bumper.

Would love a black grill and bulge but not for the going prices. I think an RCI skid is next unless I find a deal on a TRD one.

There was a couple of hiccups along the way but “V” and the folks at DeMello went out of their way to make everything right. A well built bumper and a top notch group at DeMello.

I ended up putting a S-Pod in with the 6 switches that replace the sunglass holder and love it. S-Pod has an app that controls the lighting via Bluetooth so you can set each switch to strobe/flash/stay on etc
