    A bunch
With the 3rd gen refresh they did make the pedal less touchy - supposedly for fuel economy. It's still way more touchy than any Ford I've driven where you damn well have to floor it to pass. If you use tow/haul mode you get a bunch of throttle response back.

I know this is old but bumping to see if there was ever resolution. Just got my truck back from getting my audio updated and experienced the throttle going dead. I've never had this happen before.

Only thing I had done recently was the audio, and put my winter wheels on. Had the tpms relearned. I've swapped wheels summer to winter before without issue. Wondering if op solved the issue?

If you’re not getting the slip indicator light for VSC / Traction control coming on when you loose throttle, look at your brake lights and the brake switch on the pedal.

You may well have the brake override programming kicking in if the ECU thinks the brakes are applied.

Aftermarket LED tail / brake lights can cause issues with this, as well as a ground problem to the tail lights, a faulty or misadjusted brake pedal switch, a shorted trailer light socket or trailer brake controller...

And if you’re seeing the slip indicator light up and you don’t think you’re spinning, make sure your tire pressures are correct, and that all tires are the same size, brand, and close to equal in tread depth.

Tires are all good size brand wear etc. I didn't notice any lights at all...I did just ditch some aftermarket led tails back to stockers with led bulbs and resistors. Resistors just added. Led bulbs were in for weeks before resistors added. I'll pay closer attention in the am for lights.

    Thanks for reply!

I'm almost sure it's the leds. It was fine in the am untill i switched on my running or head lights. Immediately upon switch on rpms and pedal die. So my question is if I have a 6 ohm resistor in line to draw more load could I replace with a 3 ohm (or whatever ohm) that will prevent hyper flash but not draw so much that the ecu thinks the brakes are on? Wild that leds are the issue. @landphil
