So my original blower motor started squeaking. Replaced it with a new Toyota OEM blower motor. It started squeaking. Replaced it with another Toyota one. Now that one is squeaking. It’s just a blower motor. Why am I having these problems? Do I keep replacing with Toyota or do I go after market?

How long is each blower motor lasting?

Is it a squeak or a whistle? Odd that they are all squeaking. Maybe something in vent or filter? have you tried taking filter out to see if helps?

You doing good. I’m on number 5 in 3.5 years. I bought the 4th one from 1A Auto. They warranted the part and replaced it under warranty.

I did on the first two. Didn’t last but a day. Haven’t on this go around. I wonder if autozone or whatever parts have a lifetime warranty.

Curious where you live? High heater use could theoretically dry out the bearings.

Hmmm, In Houston too. Actually just replaced blower/motor last month. Ours just died, no warning. Replaced with Toyota. Curious how long it will last.....

I do believe if it fails again, I will be looking for aftermarket that will warranty, since Toyota will not.

I have always said go Oem on electric parts but that really doesn’t seem to work here so I would definitely go after market. The AutoZone one has a lifetime warranty so that’s what I’ll get today.

Mine was replaced under warranty at 3.5 years for the blower motor bearings. As long as it's under warranty, I'll let Toyota put their parts in. After that, I'll try the aftermarket route. Like you, I'm usually 100% OEM on electrical parts but that doesn't apply to the blower motors.
