    Has anyone else had issue with this silver plastic piece trying to pull up? Its bothering the crap out of me 3k miles on my truck.

    It's trying to pull up on the outside of steering wheel.

    yep I have the same thing on the LH side. Drives me nuts. My 2014 4Runner had no issues with the same wheel.

    Just push it back down.... it kinda snaps onto the wheel on that side anyways

    Remove the airbag and unscrew the plastic trim then reposition the trim, it is an angled clip so, if it didn't broke, you should be able to put it back in. Had the same issue with mine, fixed it when I switched to Tacoma steering wheel.

    Yup, my 18 does the same thing. I snap it back in then it pops back out.

    No issues on mine. I'll come back to this thread if I see it come loose. Thanks to those that gave the fix.

    I can mash it in hard and it stays for few seconds then comes out. I don't think I have been hard on it or anything. I'll try to put it back together but truthfully I am betting it will pop back out, just seems like a cheap or poor design. May look into a steering wheel cover.

    Mines did the same thing...after I swapped out to the wood grain steering wheel it went away
