So they clear the cb steer kit? This is the part I need to know if clears. It does not come factory on a Tundra, it is an aftermarket part. See the heim joint I'm talking about nearest in picture? I'm concerned about the width and offset on the backside of rim. See in 2nd pic the top of bolt and nut, how close it is to my 18x9 rim with a 1.25 spacer? I need to know if the icon rim will clear that?

I'm not trying to insult you if you know the cb steer kit I'm speaking about. Just want to be sure that you do know and know that it doesn't come standard on a Tundra. If you know for sure the cb steer kit I speak of, and can tell me for sure that the Icon wheels will fit, then you sir, are my hero, and I owe you big time. You saved me a ton of worry.

I’m lucky enough to work down the street from Icon. My wheel vendor borrowed a wheel for me and we checked fittment before finalizing my order.

    Glad I can help

Yup see the other night when I called his cell is exactly why he told be a +12 or more negative offset. When I called again yesterday and we discussed further he was leaning toward other rim widths and offsets possibly fitting when I gave him some things I found out in my research.

You sir are the man, I can't thank you enough. That's awesome man, you just made my Christmas list this year.

Lucky you, yeah you guys out in Cali are lucky when it comes to stuff like this. Not so lucky on all the exhaust rules and regs, but when it comes to truck related vendors, you guys are in the best state for that.

This was a huge concern for me. Now that you alleviated this for me all I need to worry about now is the 35x12.5r17 pitbull rockers and the effect they will have on a bmc and possibly bumper shim. I'm not too worried about the bmc as I am the bumper shim. Having the SSO slimline hybrid bumper I'm not too sure how a bumper shim will effect that. Im guessing the +25 offset could help in possibly not needing the bumper shim. If that's the case and I just need a bmc, I'd be very happy with that outcome. But either way, thanks alot for your help, I owe you 1. If I can ever return the favor don't hesitate to ask. Finally all the help I've given on this site has come back in good karma. You are the man Francis.

1 other question and I'll leave ya alone. Does it matter the difference between yours being a 08 to mine being a 16?

I really like my Six Speeds, but dealing with ICON and the warranty is a train wreck.

Am I the only one conflicted about running icon wheels and king suspension?! I want the wheels, but I'm so ocd i would be annoyed looking at non matching shocks/brands, even tho no one would notice but me. I've had icon shocks before they're great but king blue pops on cement : )

That is the sad part. I called in December to order 5 new center caps because all mine had broken, the center piece with the ICON logo had fallen out. When I told the guy what I needed he asked about my problem and I told him what happened. He offered to send me 5 for free under warranty and said its a known problem and the new ones were redesigned. He also told me they were back ordered and if I didn't get them by the second week of January to call back. I waited until the end of January and called again. I was told they were in the process of being shipped and I'd have them in two weeks. I called again this week. The guy I spoke to said I should have them already and he'd speak to his manager and call me back in about an hour. Two days went by, I called again. Same story. They told me a manager would call me right back. I still haven't heard back.

In the end, they are just center caps, the wheels are fine, but if this is how ICON handles their warranty work, I won't be buying anymore ICON products. There are too many other companies that provide great customer service to deal with it.

Thanks for sharing, Philcam. Didn’t know about the Icon center cap issue. Hope mine don’t break, and hope they get their act together and send you those center caps.

    2018 CM, 315/70Rx17 Cooper AT3 XLT's 34.5" x 12.6" on ICON's
Toytec 3/1 with coilovers in front and 1" blocks in rear. Zone Off Road UCA's
It sits 1/2 " higher in rear on flat ground. LOVE these tires and this set up. Much better than my 15 CM that had 295/60x20's on black rhino wheels

Thanks Equin. I wanted to post pics of my setup, because I know how much I was looking for pics of similar setups to help me decide. Not everyone will like mine, but pics tell the story

I appreciate the pics. Yours makes me wish sometimes that I would’ve gone with the Six-Speeds.

Great setup. I’m curious as to what you or others are using for TPMS sensors? My install shop said the factory sensors wouldn’t fit because they were generating an airleak. They got a set of aftermarket sensors that fit but they can’t get them to map to the 18+ tundra computer, only the 2007-2017. I’m also running 6 speeds on a 2018 tundra.

I just got my Six Speed wheels and BFG KO2 tires installed yesterday. I love how it looks.

Discount tire used the stick on weights. Just make sure to tell them to place the weights near the face of the wheels so they don't rub the calipers.
