Oh yeah, seen some terrible things that people polished so well it makes you wonder why they didn't put that effort into their original product.

The next time I visit I'm fixing his garage door, upstairs faucet, maybe kitchen faucet. I suppose I could add this on as well, but his lazy ass just drives me crazy.

    He tried.

Not that hard but he tried.

When I bought my first house I would have taken down the wall trying to fix it.

That was over 30 years ago though

I learned a few things through out the years.

I had the exact thing happen to me, my first son had pulled it out of the sheetrock with no problem. I had built my house and did not think about putting a few 2×4s for the towel rack for a solid base before the sheetrock. So after it made it to the #1 spot on the wife's todo list I went in search of a of a towel rack that could be mounted to the studs 32" apart in length. I check Home depot, Menards, and a few mom+pop hardware stores with no luck. This it what I made and am very surprised manufacturers don't have one that can be cut to length by installers.

@ZPMAN that's really nice! Good work! That's like a bathroom version of rock sliders. :D

This guy, hes my sister in laws husband and normally I like helping anybody. Hes just so disinterested that it makes me wanna not care. Since I do like my sister in law though I don't want her living with that kind of crap, so I'll fix it soon. Until then I will laugh at his attempt. :p

I hear yha, I just don't know why there is not one on the market that can be mounted to the studs. I don't have to worry about the boys pulling it down agian and you can put two beach sized towels on it.
