I’m looking for a low mileage engine for a 2006 Sequoia. I live in Riverside California.

The reason is I can’t figure out why it’s overheating only when it’s under a load like going up a hill with a very small load, or ac on in 70+ weather. I suspect a cracked head. I’m a retired 20+ year dealer master tech, which includes time as lead tech for class 8 trucks. And some race engine building back ground. No coolant use, done compression check, gas analizar, chemical analizar, dye, no coolant loss, checked sensor compared with temp gun and probe, enough water pump flow, new t-stat, removed t-stat, test tested fan clutch passed, replaced fan clutch, new large extra row radiator, new rad cap, ac fan working, I’m forgetting some others test right now any suggestions. Thank you

I hope you can find an engine. Seems like you are the man as far as mechanical knowledge. Your analizar test sounds painful.

    Welcome.

    Welcome.

I have seen few 1st Gen Tundras being parted out on Craigslist. Also look up auto dismantlers in the Wilmington area. Lots of wrecking yards down there, and they usually know each other's inventory.

These trucks run forever and rarely get junked. People like yourself usually repair them. How many miles did this happen at our of curiousity?

It's a repository for used auto parts stores/salvage yards. There's also a fair amount of reman stuff on there too.
