RW rear bumpers are painted black. and from the dealer they're $2680.00 after tax -__- I just learned all of this dealing with insurance and the uber drive that backed into me.... I has a dented one up for grabs here in the next month for cheap if you're interested. There's probably 200 bucks worth dent removal and repaint needed to be done. You can have the front bumper I have but it's been trimmed so I'm not sure what all is usable from it. I'm in socal also.

thanks bandit. Please post pics of the bumpers when you get a chance.
Another option is to get my chrome bumpers line-x. I got a quote for 500 for both with assembling/disassembling.

Front Bumper is in storage, I won't be able to get a photo of that one until early next week. And rear bumper I won't be able to get a picture of until January. The truck is at Mazzulla getting more work done to it. You can call them up tomorrow though, ask for mike and ask him to take a picture and send it to you though.

So I went through the process of changing out my chrome bumpers on a 2010 that I had to color matched. The rear was not an issue - took like 15-20 mins. The front on the other hand is not a direct swap process. You have to buy all new mounting pieces, new fog light brackets, new everything. It was a lot of work, and more money than I think it was worth. You are better off having your chrome front bumper powder coated/painted to match. If you want to do the swap to the plastic front bumper, here is a list of parts you will need and the quantity of those parts you will need:

    4774908010 CLIP, PIN HOLD 4
521150C050 SUPPORT, FRONT BUMPER SIDE, RH 1
521160C020 SUPPORT, FRONT BUMPER SIDE, LH 1
    521190C944 COVER, FRONT BUMPER 1
521250C030 COVER, FRONT BUMPER HOLE, RH 1
521260C030 COVER, FRONT BUMPER HOLE, LH 1
521430C020 BRACKET, FRONT BUMPER SIDE, RH 2
    525330C040 BRACKET, FRONT BUMPER RETAINER, NO.1 1
538050C011 SHIELD SUB-ASSY, FRONT FENDER SPLASH, RH 1
538060C011 SHIELD SUB-ASSY, FRONT FENDER SPLASH, LH 1
538770C010 BRACKET, FRONT FENDER LINER, RH 1
538780C010 BRACKET, FRONT FENDER LINER, LH 1
    9008015094 SCREW, W/WASHER TAPP 2

    thanks.
Found some you tube video on removing bumpers. Rear looks straight forward. I'll probably have it line x for durability.
I'm also getting the bed line x next week. Black Rock warrior grille is in and teh line x guy will line x the toyota emblem for free.

so I'm left with the front bumper. I think I'll just get an aftermarket prerunner type one for couple 100s more.

    that's the plan :hattip:

How is the lineX holding up after years?
Did you go black or color matched?

still the same as it was applied :) has not changed a bit. very happy with it.
I got same as bed spray. line-x premium.
My truck is black so you cannot really tell and it gives a rugged look.

Sweet I am happy to hear that. I really hope white has the same longevity. Black just wouldn’t look as good on a white truck in my opinion. Thanks for your insight!

In my case it was applied over chrome bumpers too. They just scuffed the chrome and applied. I'm pretty impressed on the product.

I just removed my factory rock warrior bumper, and cover with fogs and replaced with aftermarket off-road style. Thinking about selling...Magnetic Gray Metallic 2011. Fogs can go with are true yellow Diode Dynamics.
