Stupid me. I bought a matching spare tire and wheel, and now I find that the carrier doesn't fit through the wheel hub bore. I should have known better.

Any suggestions so I can keep it under the truck? Aftermarket solutions? Maybe need to fabricate something.

Um, are you sure it'll even mount on your Tundra?

You may me able to trim the carrier down, hopefully not weaken it.

    Which OEM wheels are those?

Hmm, I find it odd that OEM wheels wouldn't be compatible with an OEM carrier. What year are those wheels?

They were made for Toyota by BBS and included as part of the XSP package several years ago.

maybe get creative and cut the cable and insert a disconnect device or hook/loop etc

You may be able to modify the OEM carrier. It appears that carrier spring won't clear the smaller center hole, and if did, the tabs that pilot into the OEM spare center hole would keep your alloy from sitting flat on the carrier. If you mod, make absolutely sure the spare can't escape off the carrier once the chain is tightened. The tabs keep the carrier from shifting too far in one direction if the chain loosens up...you'll need to duplicate that function for safety.
