    Howdy,

Making the switch to a Tundra and first the new TRD PRO will be here in Colorado towards the end of March. I ordered the PRO in black. First upgrade will be the tires.. debating on BFG KO2's in either 275/70 or 285/65. Any suggestions between the two? A guy at the dealership thinks the 285's might be very close to rubbing but wasn't sure. Second upgrade will be some LED lights in the bed for those early morning and late nights out hunting. Any recommendations one those bed lights is appreciated as well. Thanks!

Congrats on the Pro! You should be fine with either of those tire sizes with your Pro suspension.

You won't rub with either size, I think you can actually go a touch bigger since you have the pro suspension. I have 275/70/18s on my stock (non pro) suspension with no rub at all.

I’m running 285/70/18 with no issues. I don’t think you’ll have issues with either or

Congrats on the new Pro. I just got mine several weeks ago. I don’t know if your planning on installing a bed cover or not but I just put one on my truck and it has little LED light on both sides on the rear part of the cover. Here is a pic I snapped yesterday. Got some trash in the bed but you can see it lights up pretty good. 5633897A-7C7C-4170-A64B-CE5EEEA32A7F.jpg

Unless you are putting a cover on I would just put LEDs in the bed light on top of the cab. I did and used my bed lights to skin and quarter deer at night. The bed lights back by the tailgate are pretty useless if you have stuff in the bed. I had the led strips under my cargo rails in my Tacoma and they were neat but I would have had no need if the Tacoma had a bed light on back of cab. They were ok if did not have stuff in bed blocking the light.

With the pro suspension you can clear 295/70/18 without any rubbing.
