Someone near me had them on a Jeep for a month. I'm curious if anyone is familiar with the brand or are currently running them. I am on 295/70/18 Ridge grapplers that are gone after 25000mi. It's a down size and I may not like the smaller look but if I can get them cheap it may be worth while. Thoughts?

I've never hear of them, sorry. But I thought that I'd chime in on another tire to consider that's less $ than the RGs. Check out the Cooper S/T Maxx 295/70/18. I got mine for $240/tire, where the RGs were going to cost around $320/tire.

That's pretty much what I paid for my 295 Maxx's plus tax. Very good tire.

When buying tires, think about it like this: you're travelling at 120 feet per second in a 5500 lb steel box and you're connected to the ground by 4 patches of rubber covering about 4 sq feet. What price are you willing to pay to ensure those patches of rubber are going to stay intact, and keep you and whoever else in your steel box safe?

If you google around they seem to get positive reviews. I read that Discount sells them. They look like a heavy tire that leans more toward the mud side. They may get loud. If you need to stay around this price budget wise I’m sure you could do worse.

I've never gone cheap on tires, I figured for $400 to run through summer is a good deal. I plan on going to duratracs before next fall. Just wanted some input if anyone here had them.
I did read some posts on a jeep forum and they seemed ok with the guys there who had tried them.

They are DOT approved. I don't think you would have safety issues . I've seen them on a few trucks. Not a high end tire but still adequate imho.

NASCAR20 gets you 20%off from Goodyear.com. And a 80$ rebate. I just installed some Duratracs a few weeks ago. Great tire

They look like cheap versions of Goodyear.

While you look at Cooper, also check out the Cooper AT3 XLT. I run then on mine and they've been phenomenal off road. Also a strong tire for good price. Were cheaper than ST Maxx's.

Cooper AT3 XLT. They are really quiet for an AT and have a decently aggressive sidewall. Another reason I got them was for the mileage warranty (I think it's like 60k miles). To me that matters since I put about 25k miles/year on my truck.

No noise from the duratrac at all, that was my concern when shopping for a new set of tires last fall. Great in the snow also if u have to worry about that.
