Good evening group I’ve had my vehicle for couple months now. I’m thinking about leveling the front, so it match the back. A couple of my concerns are.
    1. Will it change the ride once I level it.
    2. Will it decrease my gas mileage.
    3. Estimated cost to have it done add should I take it to the dealership to get it done.

Thanks in advance for those who respond

I have a 2018 Double Cab and I used the Bilsteins 5100 all around to level and improve my ride. The fronts are on the middle setting and truck sits level. Fronts we're $550 installed because they have to do an alignment after since your changing something can't remember what. Mileage the same it only lifted it 1.5 inches or so. I installed the rears myself.

Just park on an incline...leveled for free ;-)

About 500 lbs of something in the bed should level it perfectly.

    Just kidding.

Most people use a spacer kit or the Bilstein 5100's. Do a search of the forum. There are tons of threads about leveling.

6112s. Better controlled ride on and off road. $550-$600 in parts, ~$300 in labor to install including alignment. A superior setup compared to 5100s and the stock shocks.

I did lots of research on this forum before I decided to go with my Bilstein 5100's.

Sorry had to do it. The Bilstein 5100 or a spacer.

    1. Yes. My 6112/5100 combo rides better than stock. And my truck only has 6k miles.
    2. If you add larger, heavier tires. Yes. Gotta pay to play.
    3. Prices will vary from $450-$1000. I did it myself. Just paid for alignment after. Bring to the dealership if you like paying the higher end number.

I just finished the install last weekend. I installed Bilstein 5100's in the front on the top setting. If you're looking for level, I would recommend going to the middle setting. The top setting is too close to "level" in my mind, if not a bit reverse raked. I have the 18 TRD offroad model and I just used my factory coils. I find it rides very similar to how it did before the install.

I did not install 5100's in the rear because I'm not doing anything with it and I don't need extended length.

If you do it yourself, be careful with the speed sensor line... It's very sensitive. I pinched mine and my dash lit up with every light imaginable. I found where it was broken and repaired it. Everything works perfectly now.

I was quoted 600 CAD to install with alignment. The two shocks were 280 CAD pre tax.

If you just level it (2 inches in front, leave rear stock) I dont think you'll notice much change to gas mileage. I didnt. It is when you add larger and heavier tires that is when you'll notice a big difference. I went with 275/70r18 (basically 33" tires) which is only 1 inch taller than stock tires and I could tell a difference immediately in the way it accelerates and so far gas mileage looks to be down about 2mpg on average. There is no way I'd be happy with the way the truck would drive handle or ride with 35's...to each their own.

I leveled my truck with 6112s in the front. I drove it with stock wheels and tires for 6 months before adding tires and rims. I couldn't tell a difference in fuel economy.

With the 6112s It drives and handles great. Ive had them on other trucks too. 6112s make the truck feel more "planted"...firm in a good way on the road. Not spongy or bouncy. Soaks up the washboard dirt roads and potholes much better than stock. The 5100s are cheaper, ride a little stiff for my liking, they seem to be valved ...tighter? Or maybe it's the different springs being preloaded differently... but they'll get the job done better than a spacer or block every day of the week.

Any changes to suspension or tire changes are going to definitely change the way the vehicle drives and handles. Some for the better and some for the worse. Its comes down to personal opinion and really what you're planning to use the truck for.

I plan to lightly offroad my truck for hunting purposes and camping off grid. Regularly I am daily driving and I tow some light to moderate loads occasionally so I dont want to frick up my torque or gas mileage by running 35s.

Thanks for all great information on this subject. I’ll do some more research on it. I’ll look into doing it for my next weekend project. Thanks again I love the forum..

@GbRunner10 i just bought the 5100. Why do you recommend the middle setting vs the highest? I’m having mine installed next week not sure what setting to have installed
