I'd go with 40+ on the front. A lot more weight.

I just realized you have hardly any rubber. I'd be more worried about 1" pot holes.

What is your max psi for your tires? My max is 80 and I run 45 normally. During the winter, I run 55 (well, if it gets really nasty, I air down somewhat).

Max is 80, I was thinking about starting at 46 or even 50 and going from there, see how she rides and do the chalk test. Seems like a good starting point. Thanks for your input

I run 60 pi all the way around. Running Falken wildpeak 275/70/R18. I was told that 40 would work but looked like the sidewall was still smushed, so I bumped it to 60. The max for this tire is 80 psi.

I run 32 all around. Even wear.
    If you're running 60, I hope that's when you're towing.

Are you running E rated tires? That is the only time outside of towing I could see you coming remotely close to running 60psi....That is wwayyyyyyyyyyy to high for daily usage though. Hell, even on my last set of E rated tires I still only ran 40psi

Your tires will not ware evenly. That PSI for daily driving is way too high, IMO. I'm also running M/T though. Not sure what you are.

I just googled those and they say "MAX Inflation 65psi" That means don't run em at 60 or 65 lol. Those tires and your back will be a lot happier sitting around 40psi all 4 corners. And last longer at that pressure also.

Dude you'll be hopping all over the place with that psi drop it down to 40-45, you'll find your ride is much more agreeable and able to take bumps a helluva lot better.

Ended up going 45 up front and 42 in the rear, and noticed a smoother ride right off the bat!! Like night and day!!! "National tire and battery" one of the perfered installer I picked from tread depot's website had all four corners at different Psi's
    SMH from 32-37psi WTF!!!
I knew I should of checked all four when I picked up the truck. Of course I checked the one that was at 37 and thought all of them would be the same. Thanks to everyone who chimed in.

With new tires the psi can change pretty fast. Not sure if it's due to the rubber getting broken in or what but I filled up my new tires at 37 all around and after a month or so they seemed low so I checked, one tire was at 28 psi, highest was at 31. Filled them up to 45-46 and haven't had a problem since

I think that's what happened because the fronts did look a lot lower then when I first had them installed.

Yeah so did mine. At first I was pissed cause I thought I had a slow leak or something, but when I checked the others the rubber breaking in was the only logical reason I could muster. Killed a few brain cells thinking that hard LOL

Tires have unique characteristics. Air expands in the heat and contracts in the cold. As you drive your truck, friction builds up heat and the air molecules inside your tires will start to expand. And on a cold day after the friction has caused your tire to expand, about 25 minutes later when you look again at your tire, it will look low. This is because the heat escapes from the tire when there is no direct heat or friction acting on the molecules. This is simply called putting tires through heat cycles. In racing we pay more attention to the actual cycle portion of it more and pay close attention to the temps of the tires as well. But for trucks, where there is more weight you will have more friction, this means the two fronts and the back left under the tank. But there will be more friction generated from the front because there are stronger forces acting on the front tires. Under breaking, added weight etc. If you want a easy way to keep them in check fairly easily. During the coldest part of your day/night when the tires are cold. Set the pressures about 5psi under what the goal PSI you want. Each manufacturer is different and each tire will be different dependent on wear type of tire etc. go on a 30 minute drive and check your pressures. Write them down, compare them to the first numbers and you'll know how much growth/expansion you're getting out of each tire. Then you can subtract that number from the goal psi you want, air your tires down to that exact number and you'll be accurate 99% of the time without worry. It also will make your truck track straighter down the road.
