first the one I love the most with a million memories
A Garcia Mitchell 304. I have had it 47 years at least.
It’s been thru thick and thin and honestly I can’t remember when it was used last. The rod is long gone tho.
Still functions and needs a cleaning. Over the next few weeks I plan on breaking the reels down, giving them a good cleaning and oiling.

Then we have the Garcia Mitchel 486 salt water reel. Now a cat fish reel, but I am thinking of retiring this for a new catfish rig. The rod which is as old as the reel has dry rot in the handles, so I am leery of using them, going to clean them up and make wall hangers out of them

I had my grampas set of Damn Quick spinning reels for a while, though I lost them in a move.

I have a Mitchell 300 PRO. Had it rewound with new braid. Still works and I used it on my last fluke trip. I have been snap jigging with 10 pound test line. The drag isn't as smooth as it used to be. So now I use a Penn Slammer III. The drag is much smoother. I hooked it up to a Black Hole Challenger Bank 701L.
