I used the plastic wedge (whatever it is called) for removing dash pieces without (hopefully) scratching it.

Just find the edges and gently pry it out. I used a couple of wedges. First time I had a difficult time as I could not figure it out either, but a little work and it popped right out without any issues.

Maybe I am trying from the wrong direction or something. I tried from the top, with the section lower removed.. nothing seemed to move.. I guess I will have to try again. thanks

Those interior LEDs make it nice and bright.

Running board lights huh? Be sure to post your mods, would like to see how you did them.

Did you get it worked out? I also watched that video before I did mine and that’s how I did it. I didn’t have a plastic tool to get it so I power gripped it with my bare hands like an animal and let out a grunt as I pulled, worked.

I also have a 2018 SR and after checking with the dealer he said the truck was not wired for entune premium. Do you have any wiring issues with your conversion ? I know I will need to add the gps antenna as well as xm antenna. Was it plug and play or did it need programmed?

I don't know about the premium one, as I purchased the entune plus.

I added in the antenna for the Live Weather and a mag mount Sirius/XM antenna that I had. I routed the wire onto the roof and into the cab to the radio. No reprogramming was needed. For the GPS, it actually uses GPS Scout from my Cell phone app.

It was all for me, plug and play and easy to go from the basic to the plus with Sirius/XM module as all the plugs were there and everything worked just fine.

Maybe someone else can answer your question regardint entune premium since I don't know.

Any idea what the difference is between the plus and premium?

The premium has all the bells and whistles for sure. (GPS, lots of apps, I think it may have some sort of cellular in it)

I grabbed this info below about the differences off the web

Toyota Entune Audio Plus Features and Specs
When you upgrade to the Toyota Entune Audio Plus system, key differences include connected navigation applications, satellite radio and an available JBL® Audio sound system. Entune Audio Plus will provide you with a standard touchscreen display that ranges from 6.1 to 8 inches and provides access to standard Entune Audio amenities plus SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, HD Radio and HD Radio Traffic/Weather. A Scout® GPS Link connected navigation app will keep you on the right track when you go on family adventures and a JBL® Audio eight-speaker sound system will deliver crystal clear sound.[/bscolumns][bscolumns class=”one_third_last”]

Toyota Entune Premium Audio with Entune App Suite Features and Specs
When you desire top-of-the-line entertainment and connectivity, the Toyota Entune Premium Audio system checks all the boxes. With the addition of Entune App Suite, you will have access to your favorite smartphone applications when you are on the go, including Pandora, Slacker Radio, iHeartRadio, Yelp, OpenTable and Facebook. Add a JBL® Audio surround sound system to the equation with up to 10 speakers and you will experience unrivaled entertainment. Another asset of the Entune Premium Audio bundle is the addition of an integrated navigation system that takes your driving experience to another level

Oh, please do give the URL on your thread.

I Did order the FRAC harness and am awaiting it, so I can finish.

The front camera, right now, is one that attaches to the front license plate. I wanted to see how that will do. The hardest thing was getting the big RCA plug through the firewall!.

If it all works well, I will go and take pics and of course post them.

    Thank you!

Really like the power inverter in the bed, was thinking of doing something like tart as well.

Thank you, it wasn't hard at all and all the instructions was included on what wires went where.

I did the camera a few days earlier, it took me longer to get the stupid RCA plug through the firewall by myself than doing what I did today.

Maybe an hour today if that.

Great work. The warm color interior lights have always bothered me. I like the led interior upgrades.

So far, Weather Tech Front mats and new FOB with auto start and key less entry.
I did the cup holders yesterday and they make a big difference. Thanks. Will look at doing more of your mods on 2018.

Yes, cheap and easy to do for the cup holders.

Everything I have done I got from the forums, but it makes it easier to have many in one location instead of searching for it.

I love doing more and more...of course when I have the money hahaha
