    machgra ...make chrome great again!

I've actually color matched some stuff but reduced the chrome foot print. I am keeping all my chrome stuff for when the push for chrome occurs soon

I blacked mine out but I don’t think it looks any better. Just different. I liked the stock chrome look.

Chrome baby - only way to bling blang down the street.

I put chrome door handles and mirror caps on mine to complete the look

Mine are still in the box, just haven't had time or weather to change them out. Then I'll turn around and sell the black ones for more than I bought the chrome! :fistbump:

I've studied this thread very closely and came to a shocking conclusion. There is no way on Earth that chrome is this popular. I've come to the realization that somebody made a lot of dupe accounts and used them all here to vote for chrome.

I agree. Some trucks look good without chrome depending on color. But some need chrome to complement the color .The ones that need it and do the opposite makes the truck look ugly in my opinion. But hey, everyone wants to be a follower and be the "cool guy"

I like this thread... and I'm partial to my stock chrome.. Not crazy circus chrome.. Just refined accents.

Now if I could find the ideal steps.. Lol

Good decision on the chrome. I dont get this blacked out thing. A vehicle with black wheels would be a deal breaker for me.

I like chrome, but I like the mix better. Blacked out my badges, left the chrome handles, bumper ends and mirrors chrome. I think color matched for the door handles looks better and I'll likely do that next.

    To each his own.

    That said, I generally agree.

For example, I think magnetic gray metallic and silver sky metallic are two colors that look awesome with Chrome [bumpers caps, bulge/grill/surround, door handles, mirror caps, and nerf bars]. However, cement looks better when EVERYTHING is cement [except for rims and running boards, which I like black with that color]: all black looks cool too.

    However, it's all suit-to-taste.

For me, I like to create a visual theme that makes sense [is consistent]. My Quicksand Limited will eventually be completely de-badged, have black bumper caps, Quicksand mirror caps, a black grill, and Quicksand bulge and surround.

[Quicksand on top; black on bottom (with the exception of a black Diamondback bed cover).]

All these choices help give the Tundra its appeal! :woot:

Black bumpers and black grills come on base model trucks. Chrome is on trucks with more options and the color matched bumpers and grills are made out of plastic I am thankful to have a metal bumper and I like my chrome too
