Had helper spring kit installed 2 months ago. Apparently the u bolts came loose and the center bolt snapped and put me into a poll. Insurance company put me in a rental. My luck a 2019 F150. The most uncomfortable, worst drive and under powered piece of shit i ever drove.20190218_095855.jpg 20190218_120304.jpg 20190218_153623.jpg

I’d be so pissed at the shop that installed the helper springs.

Sucks they gave you a V6 non EB.

The shop is in Mass. I came to South Carolina with a camper. 3 days later this happened in a parking lot thank god. I called the spring place. They are checking on it.

I've had better luck with Firestone airbags on my other trucks. With helper springs the ride is rough even when empty, airbags are inflated when needed.

I work my truck to much for air bags. I liked the ride with the helper springs. The u bolts they used were sub standard for the use intended. The big problem is the Ford

Those u bolts looks pretty rusty for 2 months ago. Did the shop not use new ones?

Sorry to see / hear of your troubles, but I'm curious about this statement and why you make it. Have you ever run Firestone bags?

No issues with insurance. The rust is from Connecticut salt. I tried air bags. Didn't fit me. Helper Springs didn't effect the stock ride. The u bolts were under sized. I didn't notice. I'm the first to pick on Ford but never really hated them until I drove this one.

Sorry to hear about your 2 issues. Luckily you weren't on the highway towing the camper at highway speeds.

Thanks all just had to bash the F150. Sorry if you saw me driving it. I'll be back in the Tundra in 15 days if things go as planned.
