I looked to see if there was such a thread already, hopefully didn't miss one. Here is a place to post pics of your first Toyota, and YES, pics are required.

    Here's my '83 22R 4spd.

Later when flat-decked, after I slid off a makeshift wooden bridge. The old M8000 to the rescue once again.

My first Toyota was a 2003 2 wheel drive TRD Tacoma. Lifted 8” on 36” swampers. Needed to sell it when I was 20 so I could buy a house.

My second Toyota was a 1990 Pickup with 300K miles. Sold it to my Uncle and it’s his daily driver. No
    Photos to share...sad.

This isn’t a pic of hers, but this is what my wife had when we got married. 1974 Celica. She drove it until 1999.

There were Toyota cars in my family since the 70's, but my first truck was this '96 Toyota T100.

85 SR5. 22R 4 banger which threw a rod out the side of the block on I5 outside the Pulgas gate in 1992. She was resurrected with many modifications after that. No power steering, no instrument lights, worst paint on the planet. So many good memories at Anza Borego with that truck.

Great thread Phil & Co. Some awesome Yotas in here. My first Toyota was a beige 2000 Corolla. As boring a vehicle made, so no pics. :p But it was bombproof for 12-13 years, so we grew to love it and Toyota.

Then bought my '97 T100 Xtracab 4WD, still have, still running

We’re still rocking a 2001 corolla for the Mrsmobile (It counts, it’s her first Toyota) 393,000 km now, and counting. Had to do the clutch last spring at 371,000, and just swapped the steering rack a couple weeks ago ‘cause it started leaking. So forgive me if I disagree on bombproof. :D :p

That is old school sexy right there. That was the style in the mid to late 90's. When I was 16-20. To me, that style is sooo much better than the new teenage to early 20's style that's out there now.

Bahaha! You folks gots high standards! :p Ours had around 380,000 for mileage when we sold it. Only brakes, struts and tires. Your wife must be hard on equipment... ;) :D

(Love it that other families run their Toyotas into high miles.)

    My very first toyota

Wanted a tacoma at first but dealership would not give me a deal on the one I liked. So I decided to get a full size truck since it was almost the same price as the tacoma so I might as well get a full size truck

I don't have any surviving pictures of it. But here's one just like it except for the wheels. A 1992 extra cab.
Even the stupid design on the door, but only on 1 side. It was a salvage. 22RE, a manual transmission and a AM/FM radio. Everything a high school kid should have, zero distractions.

    Actually that's a '98 to 2000.

'95 to '97 had a different grill and bumper.

I was referring to the style, as in the lift, wheels and tires, not the front end look. I've had ever Tacoma year except a 01-04. I've had 95.5, 96, 97, 99, 05, 08. Haven't nor would I ever own a 3rd gen Tacoma.

But that original quote I did, that style lift, wheels and tires looks sooo much better than the current bro dozer crap most youngins are doing now.

1992 extended cab. It went through a lot of transformations. Ended up with a 400hp chevy 350, turbo 400 trans, 35x17.5 mickey Thompson baja's. I miss that truck.

What year is that light blue one?? I had a 1988 reg cab/2wd/5 speed in that color with a very similar looking stripe back in high school around 2002. Nice truck, one old lady owner, zero rust. Dad bought me a Camaro to drive to college, he wanted to keep the truck around the house to haul crap. Looked exactly like this one except it had a stripe down the side, was about that clean as well.
