Getting ready to install my lift this weekend and have been reading about alignments post lift and the possibility of UCA's needed to get everything back to stock specs and have better road manners. Rather then have to take everything back apart again to add arms I decided to get the SPC UCA's off Amazon but am undecided on whether to install them on the C or D setting.

All the alignment specs I could find on the forum for 3" lifts show the caster as being at or a little under 1* but for simplicity lets call it 1* on average. However the D setting on the UCA only adds 1* of caster and if adding to the "average" after the lift this would only get up to around 2*.

So my gut tells me to set it in the C setting which would hopefully get closer to 3* overall. I'm trying to be a little proactive and set it before taking it in vice relying on the shop to make the adjustments etc. Thoughts?

    For reference I'll be running:
FBG Coils @ 3" of lift
    2" Blocks with Zone Shocks
    35x11.5x20
    20x9 +18 wheels
    2019 Truck

I was told to start at the D setting, but I'm only lifting 2.4"

I’m at 4” in front and I believe mine are set to D as well.

Well I just wrapped up the fronts yesterday....Went with the D setting. Have to say the install on these were rather simple overall.

Make sure you bring it to a shop that is truly knowledgeable to get your alignment. First place fucked mine up after my lift. I had to bring it to a local 4wd shop who then sent me to a place that does nothing but chassis and suspension work. They got my alignment so damn good the truck drives and tracks straight better than it did stock

I'm in the same boat, report back what setting they ended up and the alignment spec they were able to achieve. Would be much appreciated. Good luck!

Here's the results of the alignment at the dealer. After 4.5 hours getting the TPMS swapped/wheels&tires mounted/alignment I was just happy everything was in the green. I dunno if the C setting would have been better being at the higher end of the range. Honestly it doesn't look like they did much except correct toe.

They should be able to do much better with the camber.

Too much negative camber. Inside of your tires will start wearing pretty quick like that Total toe should be around .15.

I just got back from the shop that did my alignment and here are the numbers they got. Needless to say I'm thrilled with the results, which are exactly what I requested.

I'm at 2.5" lift (6112's) with SPC uppers. I installed them at setting D with the ball joints at the most outer camber position. The shop didn't move them from those settings at all

Too much toe. Your tires will be fighting each other. Everything else looks good.
