I would get my money back. It looks like a maintenance plan and a rip off IMO. It’s not an “extended” bumper to bumper from what I can tell.

    Good luck with that.

Toyota Care doesn't even "offer" or "include" "by the book maintenance" for their 2yr/25k

Wow! I’m in the market for a Toyota warranty as well. Especially with these camshaft tower leaks that are common on our trucks. I don’t put many miles on my truck a baby it. 2016 with 20K miles. Is this lady cheaper than that Brian Hyman at Oederson Toyota?

Anyone know the rules for qualifying for an extended warranty? Such as the trucks age and mileage?

What do you need extended warranty for? It's a Toyota, not a Ford.

At 1100 bucks for 8 years it’s a good investment. Even small issues can add up quick when a dealer is fixing it.

I definitely think it’s peace of
Mind. There is a cam tower leak on our trucks that are common. If this is fixed out of warranty it’s like $4,500 for that. I figured that the warranty is worth it just in case.

Doesn't the cam tower leak get covered under the 5/60 powertrain warranty?

We sell one here at our dealership. Covers damn near everything. Just replaced the oil pan and all the front ball joints and control arms on my managers truck with 80k on it. And he put on a spacer lift and new wheels and tires and they still covered it.

I'm just kidding with you guys, if you don't work on your own vehicles then yeah, extended warranty will help you sleep easier knowing you're protected.

As for me, i'm a mechanic, so I AM the warranty :D

$1100.00 for 8 years is a great investment. What dealership is that at?

I called her today and left her a voicemail. I haven’t been able to get a hold of her. Also, I took my truck in this morning to the dealer for an oil change. My truck has 22K miles currently. I had them check for oil leaks on the cam tower. They came back and told me that my rear main seal is leaking and it needs to be fixed. Has anyone had this issue before? I baby this truck and never have taken it off-road. Luckily everything is covered under warranty, but they have to keep my truck in the shop for like a week. I’m definitely buying this platinum warranty.

3” lift, black step bars, aftermarket wheels, LT305/55R20 was this way when I brought it.
My son in law bought a 2010 Tundra and the credit union sold him a aftermarket car warranty, Route 66 Extended Warranty
His has used it a few different times it has worked really good for him. They paid through dealerships

Is the 8 years in addition to the 3 years, so 11 years total?

Or is it an additional 5 year warranty on top of the factory 3 years?

    Is the price $1100 accurate?

Sounds like a good choice if your vehicle cannot meet requirements to purchase a Toyota warranty. I personally would stick to the Toyota warranty if your vehicle qualifies.

Anyone know much about TWS from first mile warranty. Looking to purchase my lease and they are saying it’s $1500 for unlimited time and miles through this company.

Catch is I have to finance through this dealership. And if I use outside finance I can’t purchase warranty. Input? Thanks!
