    Hi all,
Please forgive me if there is something posted on how to identify lift/leveling kits.

Anyway I purchased my 2013 Crew Max, Rock Warrior about a month ago. It came from a dealership so I have no way to contact the previous owner. It has a spacer leveling kit on the front and 35x12.50 BFG KO2's on the stock 17" Rock Warrior wheels. It does not seem to rub at all but I do get an occasional clank at full turn. Even thought it measures 24" from center hub to fender on front and rear there appears to be a slight reverse rake, maybe it's just me.

The spacer on the front measures about 2" so is this a 3" lift spacer? There does not appear to be any lift on the rear and I can't find any signs of trimming. Do you guys think I could drop to a smaller leveling kit and be ok with the 35's still?

I eventually would like to go to a 33" (285/70 is stock size) but these 35's only have 20k miles on them and a ton of tread.

I will try to attach a few pics of the front and rear suspension for you guys to examine. I do not believe there is any lift on the rear.

    Thanks for any assistance. IMG_20190218_122915.jpg IMG_20190218_122915.jpg IMG_20190218_150445.jpg IMG_20190218_150327.jpg IMG_20190218_154114.jpg IMG_20190218_154202.jpg

It appears to be 2.5". The spacer top and bottom is what I highlighted in red. But looks like a shim on top?

Measure from the center of the wheel hub to edge of fender. The stock measurements on Tundras are 22'' in the front and 24-24.5'' in the rear for reference :)

Ok so using a nice flat piece of wood to help with the measurements. I'm getting 24.5 front and 24 rear.

So it sounds like you have a 2.5'' front lift and stock rear.

Thanks for the help. Do you guys think I could drop to a 1.5 or 2" lift and still clear the 35s on the stock wheels or is that just asking for trouble?

IMO I would leave it as is. The 285/70 is a 33.9 and measures at 33 inflated and with the weight of the truck. If you go with the 285, I think it would look fine as you sit now. I run the 285/70 Ridge Grappler on a +1 offset. My lift is the Readylift 3 front and 2 rear.

Someone on here has stuffed 35's with minimal lift. Believe it takes some creative trimming and a cab mount chop though. May not be possible with the offset of those rims, not sure on that part.

What I don’t see in those pics are marks where the bump stops contact the LCA. Which means the sharks are bottoming out before the bumps. The shocks will eventually fail if you’re not careful. Either get some bump spacers or a fairly cheap alternative is Bilstein 5100s

    Nice truck by the way!

So looked at it a little more and compared with some kits online. Looks like this may be the Rough Country 2.5-3" kit which comes with the 2.5" lift spacer and two optional spacers for each side to raise it up to 3". I will probably drop one optional spacer on each side and see where we are.

Thanks again for all of you guys input.

I see what you are saying about the bump stops, didn't pay attention to it before and thanks for the compliment!

Nice truck, I like the stance. How do you like the Ridge Grapplers?

I love them....had them for about 2 months now. For a 34 they only weigh 59 pounds per tire
