Thank you!! We are definitely in love with it! I think my wife ordered the two end chairs which will be more comfy and nicer. I think I might slice the center piece in half and refinish it. Then it will be complete.

We still have over a foot of snow in town and much more outside of town on the east side. More in the forecast too.

I’m still on the stock Michelins. This is my second winter with the Truck and they have performed surprisingly well. I have had no issues and no need for more traction.

I agree with @JH5370... AND chains might be required on the passes depending on how much snow they are getting up there. Check out Tripcheck.com. Good luck and safe travels!

I would definitely recommend chains as a back up. The roads can be hit or miss but Cascade Lakes Hwy tends to stay pretty icy. Lately there have been state troopers catching speeders and vehicles with improper tires/chains. We see a lot of accidents and rollovers mainly due to out of towners (no offense) not knowing the highway and/or how to drive in winter conditions - assuming you're going up to Bachelor that is. Conditions in town can get bad if we get weather but it's not as likely as the pass.

@16TRD If you have a Les Schwab near you go get them there. You can take them back if you don't use them. Pretty good safety net. I can't remember if its cause I have a CDL (used to drive commercial vehicles)or all vehicles but chains(traction tires) are required in all passes from like Oct. till March or April. I could be wrong about that so if I am someone correct me. I bought a set for my 35's a few years ago and needed them 1 time. now they are mine so they just stay in with my recovery gear anyway.

Over the passes if you have AWD or 4x4 chains are not required but you can have them in the bed for peace of mind.In the last 2 weeks passes got hammered with snow.

@16TRD X## as most have said better safe than sorry keep some chains on hand. Btw, not certain about Bend, but up on some of our passes it is quite normal to see a couple of foolish ones pass you by. Take your time and be safe, you will probably see them again.. also keep an eye out for lost chains on the road have seen a few lost sets. Anyway, also welcome to PNW @thejurgy. Hey did I see a report of snow just north of LA today?

Maybe if some other folks request one to be put in Roseburg, I wouldnt have to go to the other ones. Thatll shorten the wait time there....

I might be heading up your way Friday for some registration stuff. The joys of buying a truck out of state, registering in Oregon, but still living out of state. And fuck this .5% tax they started.

It seems to be getting better, but there are times that finding a parking space is next to impossible, so one in Roseburg might just help, however a lot of the people we see in the Grants Pass In & Out are from California. Maybe it's because the In & Out in Medford is a bit tougher to get into with the crazy traffic.

We're still waiting for the title to our 2007, we have our plates and registration, I just called Grants Pass Toyota and the gal that I talked to said that Oregon DMV is working with a new computer system and everything is delayed, figures, this states government has always been F. U., the further we live away from Salem the better we feel.

Took me right at a month to get my Tundra's stuff. Oregon still hasn't sent the title to our paid off 2017 highlander I requested the title for in January. We traded the 2017 in. Now waiting for Oregon to get the shit figured out for the 2019. I am from Salem originally, so all my mail for the state goes to my family's place.

This wouldn't be an issue, but Kansas took forever on the paperwork. Didn't collect the tax. And didn't collect the registration fees. Temp tag drops dead the day my wife is scheduled to finally drive out this way... So I need to get a 21 day temp just to be safe also
