Picked up a Blue Label G19x last week and spent a little time at the range. Comes with (2) 19 rnd mags and a 17 rnd mag, essentially a (2) 20’s and an (1) 18 with one in the chamber respectfully. I have large hands, so the 17 frame and 19 slide suit me. Factory steel night sights included. It is a fine shooter. I admittedly am partial to the coyote color.

    Just finished cleaning it.

    A little relaxing range time.

Thank you Bryan. I like staying proficient with C/C even after a long career.

Added an Olight...a super bright light with a nice fit and finish. Easy charging, QD mount, a win.

    I would buy again.

That Olight is sweet!! Super compact.
    Nice 19X as well.
I like the recharging idea vs carying CR123’s around. I always have a portable powerbank on hand.
Are these becoming more popular vs the surefires? Are any popular holster MFG’s supporting them?

Awesome. I have both a G17 and a G19 but this seems like the best of both worlds. The gen417 fits my hand better than any pistol I own so I can see why you'd like this one.

The full sized frames fit my hand better than the compacts. What’s weird is I have no problem shooting the sub-compacts. (carry a G26) The compacts just put my hand in a weird spot with the gen3 finger bumps. Not an issue with the other 2 sizes or my gen5 17.

I saw someone on a gun forum saying the same thing and his grip was issues with the compacts was solved by adding a magwell to the 19. Seems the added flair on the bottom locked his hand in better. Obviously, the 19X wouldn’t be an issue!
If I wasn’t broke from the $$$$ spent on my truck for detailing products for it I’d be able to buy one! Maybe next paycheck.

    Same here..
I first bought a 19X and was hopeful I could get used the baby poop brown color, but no.

    xojihcup_zpsgvi28dyw_8106c8109b765dc22b05f69b1e3654104b548ec6.jpg

Also didn't like that my Gen 5 Glock 17 magazines will not fit the 19X.
The 19X grip has a lip that extends down and in front of the magazine.
When using a Gen 5 magazine with the extended base plate, the front of the base plate hits the lip.

As soon as the G45 came out, I bought one and quickly sold the 19X.
With the Vicker's slide stop and mag release, the G45 became a favorite out of all my Glocks....

I feel the same, the finger grooved Gen 3/4 compact just don't work for me.
I even tried a professionally done trigger guard undercut on a Gen 3 19 NiB-x, but still sold it.

The only G19 that works for me in my trusty old Gen 2 G19..
Even it feels a little short on the grip.
That is fine, it will be given to my daughter pretty soon.
But the Gen 2 G17 stays with me..

    Hold onto those Gen2s

    They're getting harder to find...especially the 19s

@JimBeam, I agree on the gen 2 I think have one of each made from that generation. I have some very mint model 20 and 21 which are gen 2 but their first appearance. I carried my gen 2 19 up until the gen 5 came out much like @1lowlife stated I dislike the finger grooves. I now carry the gen 5 and the gen 2 has house duty.

    So funny story

I have an unfired Gen1 in box with paperwork etc from 1988 with the high Austrian proof Mark's

I can't trade it for an RTF2 though
