Thanks guys, good input. Will probably pass on the choice until they get some favorable reviews.

Just got the Ultra Terrain AT tires along with wheels install last Friday. Very quite tire coming from the OEM Bridgestones, we don't get any winter weather here in Dallas so I can say how they perform in snow.

Stock for now, but have TRD Rear Sway bar for it.
Looks good. Those wheels look bad ass.

I went with these after my P rated AT3 4S shit the bed in under 15k miles. Been very happy with them so far.

I know I’m digging up an old thread. I’m most likely getting these for the wife’s 4Runner tomorrow. They can’t guarantee that the toyo AT3’s will be in when I need them so these were mentioned when I asked about duratracs. Had those on my last 4runner and liked them.

    Nice.

the only thing I wasn’t to big on is a 10 ply for the 4Runner. Seems excessive. But he said the sidewall wasn’t as hard as most 10 plys.

I was super disappointed this last snow(1/4”) ice(2”) storm. Just driving around in 2wd in the 4Runner.

One day I’ll get to try out that crawl control.

    All seriousness...still happy with them.

    Discount Tire...that’s another story.

Long story. I’ll just hit the bullets:
-setup an appointment. Got there and had 4 or 5 cars go in before me because the idiot sales guy couldn’t be bothered to do his job.
    - mounted a blemished tire then tried to hide it. When pointed out the kid said”It should be fine” no thanks douche. I bought new tires...not “should be fine tires”previously mentioned sales guy now decides he wants to do his job as I’m explaining this to another customer who is also having a problem with them and his 4Runner and watching/listening to this go down.
    - no less then 3 appointments and 4 trips to get the Tpms light to go out. Now part of this I guess could be understandable as they switched frequencies in mid 2019. Ours was built in June 2019. I did offer to bring factory wheels in with factory sensors though. They were convinced they could get them to work. I’m still not 100% it does but don’t care any more as the light isn’t on and I just stop in every couple of weeks for air checks. Clearly I don’t trust them.
