Put on the Coachbuilder brake line extension kit. I would say it was easy, but I am a low-key idiot because I didn't know we needed to flip the brackets right on the side of the center of the axle. Plus the metal lines were a bit tricky to finesse but

Coachbuilder shim for driver side lean! Also, got my wheelers off-road superbump bumpstops on the front. I also bought the rear ones but will wait for leaf pack changes before putting those on.

Got my Safe Jack 6 ton bottle jack kit and although I was going to do whatever was needed to make it fit in the stock bottle jack location, there was no need! It fits. Also, With the accessories, they do fit underneath the seat, including the universal base plate. I am planning on doing the underseat storage mod soon but without it, everything still fits under the seats. Something I hope to never use for a bad reason but glad I have the security now!

Ammo can mod with the help of... my girlfriend... purpose over presentation . Storing the water port accessories and hose inside so I always have them with me but not in the cab since they are wet almost all the time.

Did my first oil change outside of the dealer ship even though I still have a year worth of free service. Got the ECS Ravenol 0W-20 and could not be happier. Also went with the OEM filter and swapped out the plastic housing for the aluminum one!

Got Nitro 4.88 gears that will be installed soon. Will post back how they feel once I get them on!

Can I get a brief synopsis of the benefits of switching to these gears/ratios?

Once I put on the suspension, wheels, steps, etc. the truck got heavier and it feels like it drags a bit. The gears I’m getting will help with that. Just gives me a bit more power back. Do I need them? No. Do I need anything I bought for the truck? No. Do I want it? Without doubt LOL. If you want to learn more about the science of the ratio, driveshaft, etc. there are some forums on here or YouTube has good info

That makes a ton of sense! I hear a ton of guys talk about their truck being sluggish after a lift and they just live with it.

    God bless America.

Yo, just put on the first 150 mi with the 4.88 gears. I can’t tell you truly how it feels yet but as far as I feel, it shifts better and feels lighter on its feet. By no means does it go from 0-60 mi/hr instantly but it doesn’t feel like it’s trying its hardest to get going. After driving it, is it worth it still? Yes. Will post back when I am able to hit the gas a little harder and swap out the gear oil after the break in period.

Looking good! Some of those pics look suspiciously like Kaneohe.

So if I’m looking at that correctly you cut the frame on the truck to fit the tires?

Also, how is the Tundra in sand without a locking diff? I have been terrified to get it stuck in the sand, before picking up a winch, because of the lack of a locking diff.

Haha, it is Erma's! so you're spot on. Yeah I had to cut the cab mount to fit the larger tires. Following that, we welded back on some plates we cut to shape and sprayed some liquid rust-proofing on the area. Without a locking diff it feels fine to me but if you feel the need to pay for one, it doesn't hurt to have it. For the limited offroading we have here on Oahu, I didn't see need for it. I've purposely come to a dead stop and buried the rear in 2wd just to test its ability and with no problem after switching to 4x4, it came out.

Same my dude. Actually, it is the reason I went with 285/70 rather than 295/70 but ended up still having to chop.

I guess it goes to show that every truck is different. I did it after the coils settled, got UCA’s, and got an alignment
