    After 20 years of required shaving, I am on week one of no shaving. I picked up some Honest amish beard oil today and tried it tonight, hoping to get a jump start on the beard look. I am wanting to keep it as clean looking as possible without it looking like I have pubic hair growing on my face and hoping to keep it somewhat soft and less prickly in order to stay on the good side if the bed with the wife. Any recommendations for the initial 3 months other than beard oils?
    Lucky thanks to the for mentioned shaving requirement it’s filling in pretty quick, just wish it would color match more as my entire chin is grey and everything else black.

    Beard balm works good too. You’re just gonna have to work thru the hard itchy stubble phase

    After shaving my bad ass van dyke off about 6 months ago I decided a couple weeks ago to grow the beard back

    Couple weeks in. It’s a slow growing mofo but looks bad ass when it comes in. Beard will he trimmed back to a van dyke in another month or so.
