Bull bars... Yay or nay? I'm on the fence, my gut says they are lame but it kinda goes well with the factory bumper and the price is pretty legit.... What do you think??? If you have one please post pic

Most are pretty thin walled and don't stand up to any direct hits so I agree they are just for looks.

I think the bull bar has far better aesthetics then the full across cattle guard. I have the bar mounted on my tundra to protect the front from getting dinged by drivers parked in front of me. In the back I have the receiver hitch to fend off dings.

Helps in the city when people use your bumper to help them park. I have the weathertech step/bumper protector for the rear. So far my bumpers are still good.

Never had one. Nothing against them. Ones posted here look tastefully done. Have no desire to get one though. Poheller bull bar is very nice though. Never seen that style before. Looks great.

On some trucks I think they look good and others I think they look lame. Personally, I would never put one on my truck. I’d rather upgrade something else.

They look good on cop cars/SUVs, on civilian vehicles they remind me of the 80's.

    Importantly, it's what you like.

I’d rather not list. My wife might see it.
It’s a personal thing. There is really no function to it but mine holds the LED light bar so it works for me. It doesn’t make sense to me when people criticize bull bars because they are purely aesthetic but don’t we do most of our mods for looks anyway?

Go with what you think looks good to you. I love mine.

I had the Avid bar on my Tacoma for years with some KC lights and later a Rigid light bar, but I don’t think they look as good on Tundras.
