Finally got this installed last night. Big thanks to @Hattori for the hookup! Absolutely love the look of it and this thing is solid! Still a few mods to be made... i.e. camera relocation. Rear bumper sits a little high to use the actual stand on the bottom of the gate. The tire size def didnt help that issue. But seems to be perfectly fine without it. Probably going to do a custom rear bumper anyway so rear may be for sale soon. Cant cut up a piece of sdhq history. Inquiries dm me. The cons... Zero instructions. Literally had to step by step piece my way through it. Dont get me wrong, it was extremely easy to figure out... but a little guidance would have been nice. And 2. The wrong size bolts were in the kit. Again not a huge issue but for the $$$... a trip to lowes for the hardware shouldnt be part of the process. Again.. zero complaints tho. So for everyone on the fence.. here you go!20190213_070540.jpg

Funny you say that. My gf was out of town and she called me while I was working on it.. she said what are you gonna do without instructions?? My response... "put it together how I see fit"

And this is where the factory hinges are. The aluminum cups just set on them and the bar in the middle bolts together holding it in place.

I installed the Wilco Swing Tire mount to my tundra last year.
It mounts directly in your receiver, and you tighten a wedge by way of a socket and extension, and it stabilize’s from rocking.
Then slide it hitch pin lock, and on the outside, you can slide in your hitch to pull your boat or trailer, and slide in a lockable pin too. I have never had any issues with it.
Takes about 4 months to get one, cause they are custom made to order and cost the same as the windgate

Hey man hate to bump this but curious what you did about a camera relocation? Im about to order one but want to know there is a camera kit that works with it and an OEM screen still.

Where did you mount the actual camera? Harness kit? Thanks!
