Installing LED’s in the truck bed. Does anybody know where a constant hot wire is along the rear bumper without turning on the ignition?
    Thanks a ton!!!

My first thought was the 12v in your trailer wiring, but a quick google search shows it’s keyed. You may have to run into the cab (driver side) and use the wiring under the kickplate, it’s not that far....

You could also use one of these “add a circuits” to your fuse panel near your left knee when driving. Again, not sure if/what is constant hot in your 3rd gen but something may be. These are cool cause you don’t have to cut anything, you need this specific “low profile mini fuse” for our tundras....must say “low profile”...can’t stress that enough

All finished! Routed a wire up the drivers side frame to the battery. Super easy. Thanks for all your help. This is the best forum ever!

Bed lights were my first project after stumbling onto this site 6 months ago, too. That was just the beginning...next was switching most of the 12v outlets to USB within cab. Then the anytime fog light mod (Eddies Mod) followed by Baja Designs Squadron Sport fog lights (wide cornering, amber lense) and switching interior lights to led. This site is awesome, good luck
