I was having a pinched nerve issue in my elbows. It was causing numbness and tingling in my ring and pinky fingers. After an MRI, and neurological testing it was figured out. The best cause of relief i found, was accupuncture. Im jot saying my case is what yours is, just throwing it out there in case $20 accupuncture session can fix you

Correct but you must first find the right doctor. Of the 4 surgeries I have had two were 98% successful, one was 75% as the mesh has drifted and the forth only worked for 12 years and has returned as bad or worse than before. all of the above required shuffling through many doctors to find the one that really knew what the issue was and or how to fix it. The best fix for my hip was not even mentioned by the first 5 specialists to review my damaged hip. when I confronted one of the doctors after the fix + told him I can lift and carry 100 pounds, he said that his std hip replacement surgery was confirmed as the best because with 30 years of operations the failure rate is only 15% in the first 20 years. No mention that 20 pounds is usually the limit to what you can lift. Well that said, the Birmingham (athletes) procedure only had a 15 years of history in Europe and had only been FDC approved for 6 months in the USA. The recorded failure rate was 2%. this failure only happened in the first year on 2 people and none had a failure after that. That and the std replace can still be done as a second chance where as when the std replace fails, it's a life sentence in a wheel chair.
What I am getting at is, as with mechanics, doctors also will sell you what they know rather than what you need. therefore you must do your homework and nobody cuts until you are sure you have the right doctor and the actual fix.

yep, elbow pinched nerve. Glad the acupuncture works for you. The oil and avoiding sleeping on it works for me.

The neuropathy in my left hand is traced back to really old neck injuries and more recent shoulder surgery, the neuropathy in my right hand is traced back to more recent surgery below the elbow. Both were misdiagnosed as carpel tunnel.

In all seriousness try yoga and a foam roller before you let anyone cut on you. I work in a pain clinic and this is what our doctors recommend as one of the most effective treatments and the most often ignored by patients. To me it sounds like someone above that it might be pinched nerve in back neck or something C7-T1

I had ‘trigger finger’ in my right thumb and had similar issues to what u described. Got it from overuse and still deal with symptoms when it gets cold. Dr wanted to do surgery ut i said no, only gets cold in GA for like 3 months a year.

Try massage, that helps. Hope you feel better

My hands will go numb sometimes while riding my bike. Changing positions / posture and moving / shaking my hands fixes it (temporarily). I think that the position of my neck and shoulder (along with a fairly static hand position) are the main cause.

Bought a wrist cock up splint for sleeping with and one for using during the day. My wrist pain has greatly improved. I found out 1st hand, pardon the pun, carpal tunnel syndrome can really get painful fast.

I pinched my C5/C6 with a over active Tens Machine. I went from a naught in my neck/shoulder to excruciating nerve pain in the shoulder and down into my right hand. I do not wish nerve pain on my worst enemy. I only went to a chiropractor once, I am not comfortable with the cracking. A standard PT gave me exercises and did traction 3-4 days a week with no improvement. Acupuncture relaxed me but did nothing for the pain. Months later, I was recommended to go to a ART (Active Release Therapist) and she fixed all of the nerve pain. Fingers are still kind of numb but usable. She could follow the nerve down the whole arm and find everywhere it was entrapped and in scar tissue. I may be lucky because the ART I went to is an instructor at the original ART school in Colorado Springs.

Honestly I have tried it yet. My wife has been using it the last 2 days on her knee and she says it is helping.
I will start using it tomorrow morning.
