Dude, I have a very similar starting point ('18 SR5 cement CM) so I'm watching this for sure. Love the MT setup. I'm curious, what makes a suspension MT vs. LT?

Ok tell me about your front emblem. Is it a replacement that you found that keeps the sensor behind or is it a sticker/decal over the top of the stock one?

I'm a professional drinker sponsored by Stone!
    :drunk:

It's just a sticker... It was originally a LARGE 9x14in sticker and I just used an exacto knife to trim it to size, then I put a very thin bead of black silicone around the edges to keep it from peeling. Has held up well for the 6mo I've owned the vehicle.

    Sorry for the late reply.
MT is anything that keeps the stock lower control arm but uses an extended travel shock to get a few extra inches up front and added travel in back from new leaf-springs (Spring over axle)

LT is new lower and upper control arms in front (with wider stance) and Spring under axle in back (most with shocks that go through the bottom of the truck bed)

Does this affect the airbag when needed?

It shouldn't... The Sequoia has an airbag in the same exact position and it works for them. This is a Sequoia handle after all.

I only needed the Quart size and it was enough for both the front bumper ends AND the grill surround plus a little left over (prob enough for a rear bumper if needed)

@osidepunker has the .188 and he swears by them. In retrospect, I probably would have gone with .188, but still happy with my .120

Super bomb proof. I take mega hits and they don't dent. My bumper is 120 wall dom and it dents fairly easily

    Install isn't hard, just tedious

Have a few updates to share!!

Went out to Anza Borrego a few weeks ago. Ran Diablo Drop-off to Split Mountain, camped and then Ocotillo Wells OHV South to North to the Pumpkin Patch the next day. Here are some shots including my new set of skids!!

    ab1.jpg

Here are some close-up shots of the skid plates... I actually did a combo of P&P and RCI.
I went with P&p for the front Engine skids because they are a little thicker/beefier than RCI. The mounting holes were slightly off, but I was able to get them to match up with a small amount of dremel/file work.
    P&P at the Pumpkin Patch!!

    ab3.jpg

Behind that, I went with RCI for the Transmission/transfercase. RCI sells it as a single unit that I got for about the same price as just the P&P transmission (Black Friday sale). Happy to report that the two brands play very nicely with each other. Only thing I had to do was make the front RCI bolt holes slightly bigger because P&P uses beefier hardware than RCI.
    ab2.jpg

So overall, I'm not sure which brand I think is "better". P&P is definitely beefier than RCI, but I was a little miffed that their bolt holes were not exactly correct. RCI was spot-on with the bolt holes, they are less $$ and they came pre powder-coated. They just are not quite as robust. I figured that most hard impacts would be to the front skid, so the beef was more important up there. Saved a few bucks (and weight) with RCI for further back.

Oh, the other thing that was interesting with P&P was that they no longer use any spacer tubes on the front skid (like they apparently used to do from pics on this site, and as they do w/ the TRD Pro front skid). It may be ghetto but I counter-sunk a pressure treated piece of 4x4 and bolted it in there where the spacer tubes would have gone. I figure that if I can safely lift my truck on the floor jack with a 4x4 wood spacer/extension, then it will at least take a few hard impacts up on the front skid as well. I painted it up w/ enamel to keep it from getting saturated with water and let it last a bit longer. Long term goal is to have my friend w/ a machine shop make me a custom spacer "block".

Oh, and I forgot to add that I finally got the rig some new rubber!!
I originally bought these rims with some worn down (stock size) KO2s. Ran those down to about 10% tread and then put on some 295/70r18 COOPER STT PRO's.

    BEEFCAKE!!!

Super traction, and I loved watching them deform the sidewalls on some of the crawling sections that we encountered. I would have been freakin out about getting a flat w/ my old tires. These handled it like a champ!

I was browsing CraigsList the other day and found a deal that I couldn't resist!!
BAMF bed rack with Rhino Lining complete with dual Rotopax mounts, quick-fist mounts AND an ARB 2500 awning. All for $300 (at least that's what I told the wife!!!)

While the rack is in AWESOME shape, the one thing I was slightly disappointed about was that the accessory pieces (roto mount plate, Awning arms) were bed-lined while installed, not separately. Oh well... at least I can still fit into the parking garage at work!!

Oh... and for those noticing the stock wheels, since the truck is also my DD I didn't want to run pavement on expensive off-road tires, so I kept my stock wheels and I change them out with the Vision/Cooper set when I want to go wheel. I have the process down-pat now and can change all 4 in about a half hour. I use an impact driver, but I do all the final tightening by hand. I also enlist my 8yr old son to hand me things as needed.

    Another quick update:
Decided to add some Matte Black vinyl to my hood. I'll swear that it was to reduce glare, but in truth it is 100% cosmetic.
