    Just a little update:

I ended up flexing out the rest of the Heep today and adjust the limit straps. Most of the adjusters needed 1/8” adjustment. Not bad, but I need to actually do this more often....like once a year. Lol

Where do you think I learned this from? I couldn’t afford to rebuild my shock every 30 hours of track time.

Thanks for posting this. I’ll probably never run rebuildable shocks on a daily driver here, since road salt would be their demise. But, interesting to see the internals in any case.

A little of this and a little of that.
Thanks Chris. Superb write up. Ill need to do this in about ~25k more miles. Depending on how much off road time I get in. Glad to know it's pinned here. Thank you.

ok, so, i'm about to dive into this. question, can i do the full rebuild, replace the wiper seal and tighten the set screw before filling with N2? the N2 is the only piece i don't have at the house so i'd have to throw the shocks in the back of bec's car and drive up to filthy or rsg and have them filled. last thing i need is a couple thousand CCs of shock oil all over the back of her car...

should i wait till i'm at your place next week? btw, got out of next week's travel requirements.

is that a blanket yes? or a yes to closing everything up before filling with N2? or a yes that i'm going to make a mess?

will do but it isn't terribly difficult. it's just a very expensive, oversize mountain bike fork. might have to wait until this afternoon to boil my shaft when bec is gone... :anonymous:

Close everything up, can verify seal cap seating later.

just traded emails with ben. my 2.5 rebuilds will be ready on monday so, i'll rebuild my rears on sunday then drive up and have him fill on monday when i pick up the old ones.

i'm also going to pick up another couple of seal kits and some more oil from him. when i come down to your place, and we tear everything apart, i'll rebuild the coilovers with the new flutter stacks and seals while trying to pick up some welding tips from you at the same time.

i suddenly feel like the two bottles i bought you isn't going to be enough but i'll make it up to you.

I know plenty of manufactures and places of businesses that will ship to Dubai. Check with Down South Motorsports, ToyTec, etc.

Sorry Mohammed, I totally missed your post. Next time, tag me in the post so I can be alerted.
