    Hey everyone,

I've got a well used Snugtop SS on my '06 that I picked up used a few months back, and it has some leaks. I used clear silicone to stop the leaks around the side windows, but it also leaks from around the top of the rear door/window. There appears to be a huge gap between the top of the rear glass and the actual fiberglass of the shell.... is that normal? All it does is create an area for water to pool and then leak inside the bed. If it's normal, I'm wondering if I may need to replace the weatherstrip around the glass.

I have the same topper on an 05. I also got it used. There is a large gap between the rear window and the shell like you describe. That area was super dirty on the shell I bought as it seems to accumulate junk. After a good cleaning, I haven’t had a leak on the rear window seal. Your seal may just have given out. All my leaks seem to be tailgate and front corners, which I need to work on adding some more foam to.
