hey man, where did you route your wires for your pods? ive got a roof rack coming and im considering a light bar on it but didn't want to drill a hole in the roof.

 

That head unit is gorgeous. You like it? And how much,roughly? Brand?

 

550 and it is a love hate relationship. The more time I spend tweaking settings and getting it dialed in the more I like it. Having a full web browser and a 1TB hard drive of music is hugely positive.

 

Oh I definitely drilled a hole in the roof... multiple holes, in fact. How are you going to mount the rack without drilling?

 

Oh I'm cool with drilling.. just didnt know how you mounted and ran the wires.. got any pics.?

 

So I had it professionally installed, because I was not comfortable with a lot of the things involved with this one. But, I’m pretty sure @Coachbuilder1 ran the wires from the pods through the tubing, so the wires didn’t have to have a separate hole. Then the installer dropped the headliner to get to the wires on the inside and the nuts to tighten the rack on. Dropped it down the a pillar and ran everything to my switch pro. So the only pic I have right now is of my switch pro mounted.



If you come down here to Chattanooga, you can look at whatever you want on my truck! Haha
