After Bilstein level measurements

Just wanted to give y’all some details on my Bilstein 5100 install

2019 crewmax Trd off-road
Bilstein 5100s (top setting)
2 coachbuilder shims on driver side
1 coachbuilder shim on passenger side

BEFORE fender measurements
DF 36 5/8
PF 37
DR 40
PR 40


AFTER fender measurements
(100 miles driving to let them settle a bit)
DF 39 7/8
PF 39 7/8
DR 40
PR 40


So gained just and 1/8 under 3 inches in the front and both sides are even!

That’s about as perfect to level as you’re gonna get, somehow the nose still looks high so I may put a 1 inch shackle on soon

Awesome. Looks perfect. No shackle, leave it. Front will settle 1/8" after you drive it some more. Very similar to mine, although I did 2 CB spacers on both front shocks. Looks great.

I am in the same predicament right now. Trying to decide between 275/60r20's or 275/65r20's. 33's or 34's. Leaning towards the 33's for everyday use. Thinking Falken AT3's.

 

How is the ride quality with this setup?

 

Truck looks great! I wonder why yours is one inch taller than mine stock.


I'm running 5100 leveling shocks on the middle setting.

DF is 38", PF is 38.25"
DR is 39", PR is 39".

I'm installing the @BOSS4x4s shims and shackles today. Two shims DF and one shim PF and moving the clip to the top setting on the 5100s leveling shock. Shackles set at top setting with 5100s installed in the rear.

I'll post up my measurements when I'm done.

 

I am surprised you don’t have bro lean. I am level with just 2 inches in the front. For some reason I thought Bilstein on the top setting with a shim would put you over 3 inches and make it nose high.

 

This is what I was looking for, now will order mine. Truck looks great!

 

Looks good, however personally I think it looks a tad nose high, especially in the photo in the parking spaces. May settle a little in front though, but any weight at all in the back and may look like you have a saggy diaper. Just my opinion- make the truck yours!

Looks great man! I just got my 19 SR5 Crewmax TRD and am totally confused on how to get the nose up and level. I am leaning toward the 5100's but don't know where to start. I am guessing I need to gain 2" on the front to get leveled? What setting on the shocks do I want to go with? Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks

5100's on the middle setting will level the truck.

Here's mine with 5100's on middle setting with 2 shims on top (raised from stock about 2.5").

 

5100 front shocks height adjustable with 3 different lift settings: .87″, 1.57″, and 2.28″

Each Coachbuilder shim, if desired, adds another .5”

In general going towards and above 3” lift requires UCA change.

Alignment is required post install.

You may also opt for a differential drop kit if higher than 2nd setting, and carrier bearing if using shackles in the back. In addition, bumpstop extensions or replace with Superbumps.

If you have the funds, go with the beefier 6112’s.
