'19 Pro Grille Garnish

Anybody know where to get the small grille garnish piece for the '19 Pro grille w/o paying $364???
If not I'm about to get creative...

 

I just installed the 19 pro grille on my truck and didnt realize I needed a "garnish cover" so I have been driving around without one. After I installed the grille and noticed the price of the part I was kind of taken back. So im currently searching also

 

probably be a highly stolen item soon....damn thieves

Ares still stalks around this forum I'm sure. Maybe they'll be a hot item short term but I suspect there will be aftermarket knock offs of the OEM (vs the Ares piece which is its own design), or the tundra piece will drop to what tacoma garnishes sell for these days ($50-60)

My interaction with him was a pleasant one. He went over and beyond to make sure I was getting the right piece and the correct finish to match my grille. The quality of the piece was second to none and the packaging was excellent. Looks as if it were an OEM piece. In that aspect I could see if Toyota was pissed. Lol.
As far as his bad rap on here and wherever else, I can't say, as I don't get on here very often. I will say, if I needed another garnish piece or anything else he was selling, I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again... great experience.

 

I think/believe he left because the first batch had some issues which he stood behind and then had his balls broken by some members. Then the pissing match started and he took the higher road.
I never purchased one but they did look nice. I've had several conversations with him and everything was great. I wish him the best of luck and hopefully one day maybe he will come back.

A possible theory is he was being pm'd by unhappy early adopters when his products weren't fully finessed. I can say he's delivering something very polished and well packaged now.

 

Nobody ever remembers the good you do... just the bad.

 

Whatever the story, it’s a good garnish for less than OEM. It’s a choice like all the other 3rd party mods we install at our own risk.

 

Hello Everyone! I have been trying to find this guy(or someone else) who makes this aftermarket garnish cover....Can anyone advise me where to find one? I have a 2014 with no tss. Thanks!!
