Hi, I'm Steve from The More We Explore. This thread will document the build of our 2018 Tundra. I'm not new to toyotas or to modifying vehicles, but this is my first Tundra. Thanks to the many people on tundras.com who provide helpful information. Hopefully my build can be helpful for some of you.

I'll be posting questions and details here, but my preferred medium is video. As I make and edit videos of the build, I'll be releasing them here.

Ranch Hand Summit front and rear bumpers. Diamondback SE tonneau cover. Rigid DOT fogs. LED headlight/fog replacement bulbs. Matt Gecko hood, and bed LED's. Foot well led's, and interior LED buld replacement. (warm) Broke the front shock of the 3" spacer lift, so replaced with 6112/5160 and 1' block rear. KO 2's. Speaker replacement, added amp and (2) 10's under seat. Weathertech floor mats. Salex organizers. Ziebart undercoating. RCI front, transmission/diff, and gas tank skids received, waiting for spring install. Compustar remote starter. front/rear dash cam.
Congrats on the new purchase! I was a subscriber to your channel before your Tundra. Like you all even more now. Haha. I am jealous of the bigger gas tank you have. That is probably my only issue with the truck. Looking forward to watching you mod the truck to fit your lifestyle. You are going to find that this forum is a wealth of knowledge. Congratulations on the new addition to your family!

Good to see you on here Steve. As an avid mountain biker and looking into going mobile, I have subscribed to both channels for about 8 months.

I also have seen your channel before your Tundra. I'm curious to see what trailer setup you pick. I agree that there aren't many choices for an offroad worthy quality trailer in the US.

I've seen all these before and I still don't think there are many options for an offroad worthy trailer (I'm thinking ~14-20') for a family to do extended trips. The black series looked intriguing until I read the several page thread on expo.

Black series is the only one big enough to live in full time. I dont live in a house, i live in a trailer and im looking for a solid offroad trailer big enough to live in for a year at a time.

Think you could make one of the larger VMI offroad trailers work? There are some updated photos in this thread.

Hey Steve! My wife and I have been following your adventures for years. Was really excited to see you turn your attention to a Tundra (mine is on order, built and on the train headed home). Please keep the vids coming; we both subscribe and enjoy watching you guys. And the more you can document about what you do to Kino, the better :)
