Very nice bro!

 

Picked up the truck this morning after a little mountain biking, looks even better in person after the coating was finished.

With the tints done, finally felt good about mounting my front and rear dash cams. It was pretty bulky and didn’t have a ton of great spots for the front camera to mount. Felt this was the least line of sight distraction from my position.

 

So it was -2 for the high last week and today 50!

Had to give her a quick wash and slick up the brand new DuraTracs!

Any pics of how you have the back set up mounted?

 

What did you need to do to get this to work? Thinking about ordering the same one...

 

Yep. Obviously couldn’t do it on the glass, thought about the seat belt cover for the middle seat but the kids would tear it up. So alcohol prepped the gasket and stuck it on. It’s a little iffy but letting it simmer on there while the weather is warm.



Tucked all the wires through the headliners and stuffed the excess down the center pillar(?). Gonna need to get those greasy finger spots out of there. Wear protection people!


And had some trouble at my A pillar plus running low on f#cks at this point, so left this inside corner a mess.


Anyone have any suggestions for spot free cleaning on the headliner?

 

Installed some cheap battery powered bed lights. We’ll see how they work out. For now it’s better than nothing, and looks much brighter in the dark

Installed KSP 2” level kit yesterday along with there 1” diff/ skid drop
Yes I know everyone HATES the “ HOCKEY PUCKS” - but it’s only temporary- could not pass up 2” machined aluminum “ pucks” for $40 / diff-$30- got to take what money will let get

Going 3/1 or 4” and new coiloveres/ UCA w/ 35’s once I wear out current new tires

 

Weather cooperated and my truck got a wash. This is the first truck I felt like washing the road salt of in the middle of winter

 

How do they sound of you don't mind me asking?

Wanted to take the kiddies out on the ice with the quads today. My sons wouldn't start. This is the exact reason I get this bed cover. Instead of having to go get my trailer and make it into a big ordeal.

Boom. 2 ramps out and quad on top of cover.


Fold ramps up, put on bedslide, and slide them into back of bed, close tailgate.


Bring it over to my boys house and reverse process. Clean the carb on quad and good to go. Got this shot on my way back to lake after getting it fixed. Who don't like frozen waterfall pics?


A quick easy unload of pulling the bedslide out to grab ramps, drive quad off bed cover, and done. Nice, quick, easy, and very convenient. Love the DB HD cover and bedslide pro se. I do realize my truck literally looks white, but who got time to wash when u got 2 kids to have fun with.


The final result of the day. Quads on ice with, fire, food, and friends.

 

It definetly helps with stock rims. It doesn't push them out like crazy. But it widens the stance a bit.

 

Busy weekend completing some additions and setting myself up for more good things to come. Also did this over the weekend. I think it came out great and matches my interior theme perfectly. Here's 2 shots with and without flash on.




Will be selling my original factory trd pro shifter. I did a custom hydro dip on it so if interested take a look in the buy sell thread shortly.

Yeah as bad as I wanted to give my truck a wash, and as bad as you all can tell it needs one..........


I did what any good father should do and chose to make a memory over making the truck clean. It wasn't a hard choice, but I won't lie either, it pains me to see my truck covered in salt like this and not get it off. You guys that know me, know I got love for this truck almost like it's my 3rd kid. Not quite to that level, but not far off from it either.

I mean look how shitty it looks, it almost looks white in color lol. Gotcha white trucks.

 

Yup that looks much better. I liked the hydrodip but it just didn't flow. This looks really good. Nice work.
Also looks like a fun day on the ice. Nothing like it. Its been a couple years since I have been out. We take our old Honda ATCs up to lake George every now and then, good times having to lights fire to keep the beer from freezing lol

 

I'm in the same boat. My truck is filthy right now but my free time goes mostly to my daughter. Warmer weather coming so hopefully I'll find the time soon.

Tnx Sean. I agree. The hydrodip came out great and will look awesome in someone's truck. Just not mine. It just didn't work with the other changes I made. Was too busy. But for someone who has not made the same changes as me, I really do believe it will look great in theirs. I just posted it for sale so we'll see who's willing to take the chance and benefit. I just added it for sale last night.
