This antenna mounts on a fender or cowl, and it requires that you drill/punch a 1-inch hole. If you have room on your fender for a 1-inch hole, plus a little extra for the mount, then this antenna will work.

Drilling the hole and running the cable into the car (to plug it into the radio) takes time and some experience to do it right. This is not a quick solution, but it does work well if installed properly.

It easily installs in Chrysler, Ford, GM, and import vehicles. As Dodge is made by Chrysler, it should fit. Installation will depend on your vehicle specifications.

Yep. Replaced my 2013 Dodge Caravan OEM steel whip with this in about 15 seconds. Screws right on original factory base. Used a 11/32" flat wrench. (Now have a package of mount, wire and leftover fittings:) Performance not quite as good as long steel whip, but good enough. (Wish people would not give advice here when they are not 100% sure of what they are saying, but that's life on the internet.)

Modified it to work on my 98 motorcycle--for what I paid for it and the fact that it improved reception over the small wire antennae that came with the stereo I put on my bike I am more than happy.

Yes, this is for terrestrial radio an outdated technology for cars but I still enjoy local radio programming. The RMA 900 worked as a great replacement on my cars that antenna location space on the car is limited.

good replacement for oem antenna

Needed a replacement antenna for the tractor roof and wanted something flexible to prevent tree branches from tearing off or causing damage. This antenna does the job. It does not pull in signal as well as a longer wip antenna but can't complain when considering the price.

Okay

The original antenna on my 1995 Subaru Legacy was bad, so I replaced it with this one. I thought that the instructions for this Scosche antenna were sketchy, plus drilling a hole on my car's fender and mounting the antenna were not the sort of thing that most people would be comfortable doing. However, the hardest part was getting the cable into the car, where I could plug it into the stereo

Once I got that done, the antenna works great. My reception problems are fixed and I now get strong reception with this Scosche antenna. It looks good, too... below is a photo of my installation, showing the location of the old and new antennas.

I like that this antenna is relatively small, yet it gets strong reception. I would use it again and recommend it to others.

Having reception problems with my car radio. Cheapest option: replace/verify the antenna. $7 option is inconclussive. I cannot say the antenna is good or not - I still have reception issues. It's not the antenna that's bad.

Good $7.00 gamble

All I needed was the antenna (not the wire, etc.) for a replacement to my 2007 Mazda 3.  It came with three adapter screws (threaded at both ends to fit into the female receptacle in the old base and the female receptacle in the antenna); no problem finding the right adapter screw to fit.  The problem is that it left space between the base and the antenna where the middle of the screw was exposed; the boot to the antenna was not long enough to cover it.  So back it went to Walmart, no problem returning it.

NOT a Universal Fit

first off I had to get a longer screw in order to get this on  02 Ford explorer. the reception was kind of weak and  then not even a month I went through a car wash and it took the plastic antenna right off the base. My only reason for me purchasing this was to go through the car wash without my OEM antenna getting ripped off or bent.
