the gas cap is assembled backwards from the factory and causes the engine to stall unless the gas cap is loose it must be disassembled and reassembled correctly so that it can pass air in the on position. additionally the starter cord assembly inside the engine is poor the knot is too small and pulls out after one day of use. I was able to fix these things and it is a wonderful generator with those issues repaired but don't buy it unless you're handy. the components are a great quality but the assembly quality is poor

First start required  starting fluid
After that started ok.primer bulb would help.
Make sure to change oil after 30 mins of running as it will be dark and show metal flakes in oil. Seems to run fine now.

First start

got this for a 400 watt battery charger, used twice a week for 4 months, it stays outside so it did get rained on several times, spent 4 hours on it today trying to get it running and no luck, it dose fire with starting fluid sprayed into the carb, I cleaned the carb and it has gas in the float bowl, but wont run ;l   oh well, you get what you pay for and I cant afford a Honda….

Bought in Oct. to Get one for Emergency in winter  to Power Oxygen System and Furnance Blower  to Keep Hse Warm in event Power goes off for Longer than 2 hrs.. While testing it? Had neumorous Problems and Just Gave up and Took it back.. I am a Handicapped Person who is a Veteran from 65'  and Not able to Provide the Same  to play games with this stuff as I used to do and shouldn't have too when New item.. And No More Quality Control by WM?

don't buy this it is junk on my 3rd one in year if it would start it would run about 15 min. 
then wouldn't start again

I should have listened to the existing reviews online.  
First time out, hit overload with just one fan and some small string lights on the load. 
Would not and still will not re-set, runs but no power.  SAD
