Cord works, software tricky

Cord works, software tricky
Photos posted are the provided instructions and then also with my additional notes of how it worked for me. I had to install the driver and then manually assign the driver both at the cord's "USB controller" and "Other devices/MVCI" locations in device manager or it would not connect, had yellow exclamation by "Other devices/MVCI" location. Written instructions were tough, video helped a lot but still not totally complete for each computer situation. I used Windows 7 64bit and got it to work. Connected to car and programmed keys with some minor disconnect / interruption issues, may have been the car being finicky with the process. Cord has clip that attaches to plastic around OBD2 port, thought was stuck but freed it by gently using flat head screwdriver to release clip while pulling plug out.Seller included business card with email address offering to send link for software and instructions files to download rather than using CD drive. Seller replied to my email, albeit after 7 days, with polite apology for late response and helpful information and link to download. Good seller and I'm happy with purchase.
