TitanRF Faraday Tape has been tested and certified to meet shielding effectiveness standards IEEE 299-2006. IEEE 299-2006 is the standard test method for measuring the effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding enclosures and materials. A properly-shielded device will effectively retain all RF energy in its faraday enclosure and keep all external RF isolated. The TitanRF Faraday Tape is advertised as a material that can be used to isolate devices by blocking the frequency range most mobile devices and electronics transmit/operate within. To provide validation for this claim, the shielding effectiveness test measured how well the tape shields frequencies between 1.5GHz to 40GHz. The positive test results provides authentication of its shielding abilities. The full "passing" test report and signal attenuation graph is available upon request

TITANRF FARADAY TAPE OFFERS THE NEXT GENERATION OF FARADAY SHIELDING

The high-shielding conductive adhesive tape is available in 1 inch, 2.5 inch, and 10 inch widths, and comes in either 10 feet or 164 feet length rolls. The tape can be easily cut and taped to surfaces for creating do-it-yourself faraday cages or RF shielding enclosures, EMF radiation reduction, EMI shielding and deflection, or connecting two sheets of TitanRF Faraday Fabric.

If using with TitanRF Faraday Fabric, place the sheets together and overlap slightly. Adhere the tape to the front and back layers to seal both sides. Make sure all edges are covered. The tape is extremely strong and cannot be removed easily once in place (may damage the fabric if removed).

The tape can also be used like a patch to easily repair a punctured faraday bag.

Primary applications include shielding electronic devices from RF signals, defense against EMPs, protection against EMF and EMI radiation, industrial signal proof rooms or tents (military, construction company, IOT developer), DIY consumer RF shielding cages and enclosures, data security, and to enhance digital privacy.

I very easily made my own faraday cage in case of EMP or Carrington Event to house my small electronics, and this TitanRF Faraday foam gasket made it easy. Some designs called for aluminum tape to completely seal the can, but then you can't easily get into it and have to re-tape it every time. The Faraday tape in conjunction with the Faraday foam gaskets (linked below) make it cleaner and easier.I bought:• Behrens 20 Gallon galvanized steel garbage can from my local hardware store• TitanRF Faraday foam gasket (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08KS6GKCX/)• TitanRF Faraday tape (1" x 10')For the 20 gal garbage can, one roll of 1" by 10' was enough. I used the tape to line the seems of the can, and holes where the handles are, and also to help hold the foam gasket in place along the inside of the metal lid. The foam gasket has sticky back, but it wants to bend in, and the tape holds it place.The lid presses down tight into the foam gasket creating a seal, and blocking radio waves. I tested it with a handheld radio set to NOAA and with the volume all the way up. The signal totally dies when the lid is all the way closed. No radio waves are getting through.Make sure you line the can with something non-conductive. I used old carpet scraps.

• TitanRF Faraday tape (1" x 10')

For the 20 gal garbage can, one roll of 1" by 10' was enough. I used the tape to line the seems of the can, and holes where the handles are, and also to help hold the foam gasket in place along the inside of the metal lid. The foam gasket has sticky back, but it wants to bend in, and the tape holds it place.

The lid presses down tight into the foam gasket creating a seal, and blocking radio waves. I tested it with a handheld radio set to NOAA and with the volume all the way up. The signal totally dies when the lid is all the way closed. No radio waves are getting through.

Make sure you line the can with something non-conductive. I used old carpet scraps.
