The on going question with these mounts seems to be how one is supposed to secure the back wheel? The answer to that question is that there is no need to secure the back wheel, but I personally do not trust that. I have driven with out the back wheel secured and the bikes do not move. Even though I have done it with great results. I have a Fuji Altamira carbon road bike at a cost of $3000 and my wife's bike is a Fuji SL carbon road bike at a cost of $2000. They are not the most expensive bikes in the world, but they cost enough where Id rather be safe with them than sorry. So I always find my self running a ratchet strap through the back wheels of the bikes and tightening them down just enough to secure them. You could also use a bungee. I prefer the ratchet strap though
Anyway all and all these are great mounts for truck beds and a price point that is easy on the pockets. I was going to purchase the Thule rack setup for truck beds, but at over 400 bucks it just seemed like over kill to transport 2 bikes. I have a rhino rack on the roof my truck, but I wont mount my bikes up there. Its to high to access easily and it just looks plain old stupid to mount the bikes that high up when there is a hole truck bed you can use. The mounts come with everything you need to mount to the existing tracks in your truck bed. Only takes about 5 minutes to install. The mount itself is made of a lightweight but very strong aluminum allow that is powder coated to look good. The locking skewer is a quality robust build that wont make it impossible for someone to steel you bike, but it well definitely slow them down to the point where most would probably just give up. If I am taking a trip with my bikes and I know I will have to make stops here and there. I use a cable lock that goes through the hollow spot in the fork mount and through the frames of the bikes for extra security.
Tips:
-Switch out the torx bolts for security torx and add lock-tite for an even more secure mount.
-It is possible to unthread the locking axle, even when locked, but to prevent this, I simply tightened the axle as much as possible, and then rotated the handle so it was tight against my truck rail. The handle would then hit the rail and could not be loosened anymore than 1/8 of a turn.
-Still use a cable lock run through your trucks tie-down loops if worried about theft
Pros:
Quick Install
Great Value
Very sturdy
Easily modified to be more secure
Cons:
Not 100% theft-proof, but easily modified to be more secure (does add a level of security that I find acceptable for the money. Still highly recommend)

I used it with my MTB for a 100+ mile trip and a few shorter trips, mostly highway, and it held perfectly and the bike didn't budge. Not sure how it would do off-road. I have it mounted on the side rails of my 2016 Nissan Frontier. My 27.5 MTB fits at just a little angle, and my 700c road bike fits straight without quite touching the opposite side of the bed. Could easily fit two of these behind the wheel wells sideways. Probably could put 3 on the front rail but would have to go with the tailgate down. (I have the crew cab / short bed which I think is actually wider than it is long) It was super easy to install on the Nissan tracks. I read some other reviews about little tricks to make installation easier, but they weren't necessary. Also, it looks way better than having your bike laying in the bed, or trussed up with ratcheting straps or bungees (if you care about how it looks). I'll probably get a 2nd one for my wife's bike.
