About this item
- THE COLDEST IN THE CATALOG: The ARCTIC ICE Tundra Series reusable ice pack is our coldest ice pack that freezes at 5 degrees fahrenheit.
- IMPORTANT FREEZING INFO: This small Arctic Ice Tundra Series pack needs to be below 5 degrees to get our unique compound to freeze! Designed to keep frozen goods frozen! Not meant for liquid cooling, the Tundra will freeze liquids like water, milk, etc.
- NO MORE WATER: Arctic Ice packs for coolers last longer than ice. As ice melts it sits in the cooler getting everything wet. The Arctic Ice Tundra Series ice pack provides cold to food. It melts just like ice, but it stays contained. No-mess day out!
- SAVE ON MELTING ICE: The average American uses 4 bags of ice a year. The ice pack pays for itself after only 4 uses! Who doesn't love this? Ice bags create so much waste and litter each year, by purchasing Arctic Ice packs you'll help eliminate the waste!
- EXTEND YOUR ICE LIFE: If you are still big on using ice, you can still save money by using our Tundra Series ice packs to slow down ice melting. Thus, giving you more time to chill responsibly without having to fork out more dough!

Product Description
Tundra series freezer panels have a very unique freezing point of 5 degrees F and are designed to help maintain a consistent freezer temperature in coolers. While not as cold as dry ice, tundra freezer panels can be used as a suitable replacement. The panels have been shown to maintain days of frozen temperatures in controlled testing. Due to its low freezing point, tundra freezer panels can take 18-24 hours to freeze. Turn freezer to the lowest setting to ensure freezing. It is recommended that these panels be used to maintain frozen goods. Use weight equivalent to dry ice needed for great reusable results. Store in freezer when not using so they are ready when needed. The ice size is small.

AI-generated from the text of customer reviews
Customers like the size of the ice chest. They say that it fits well in small soft sided coolers, leaves more room in their cooler, and fits nicely in the trash can. The slim design works well and is rugged and won't fail. Customers also mention that the sizing is accurate and that the product is well-made.
"They are exactly the size I need and are well made (and in the US), but be advised: these have to get COLD to freeze...." Read more
"...Also noteworthy, is more room in the cooler, and if you have to transport a larger cooler over a distance, it is a little lighter as well to consider..." Read more
"...So your choice. In early use them, bulky and thaw quick." Read more
"Bought two of these as a companion gift for a soft sided cooler. These are small, but should work fine for the recipient, as he is off to college...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the temperature of the ice chest. Some mention that it's a great product and keeps your food nice and cool for a long time, while others say that it takes a lot of time for them to freeze solid, and the temperature differential is too great to use these to keep things cold.
"...If you have a good lunch box for it to go in. Keep your food nice and cool for a long time...." Read more
"...The temperature differential is too great to use these to keep things cold—these work around 5 degrees and cold things are generally above 32—all..." Read more
"...OMG it freezes anything they have contact with, soda, potato salad....... I am not complaning, just a learning curve. So far very happy with them" Read more
"Seriously though, it does get cold. I do some outdoor summer sports where I normally bring a cooler with water and ice...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the performance of the ice chest. Some mention that it works well for the first few used, while others say that it doesn't work that well, is useless, and is not effective to be used daily.
"...They work well, come in good sizes, are rugged and won’t fail, and are made in the US." Read more
"...They work great though and keep stuff super cold." Read more
"Tested for 6 months. This thing is terrible, I purchased the Alaskan, Chillin Brew, and Tundra at the same time to test how each would..." Read more
"This works pretty well. I take my cooler to work one day a week when I get $5.00 Sushi for dinner...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the quality of the ice pack. Some mention that it's well made and lasts better than any other bands they have tried, while others say that it only lasted 1.5 days. Some customers also say that the ICE PAK ARE NOT GOOD and certainly not worth $50+ for 2 and that they are not a dry ice replacement as they claim to be.
"They are exactly the size I need and are well made (and in the US), but be advised: these have to get COLD to freeze...." Read more
"...However, it is only good for a days use, definitely not a few days...." Read more

"These are nice alternatives to dry ice. Does not last as long nor is it as cold as dry ice, but at least you don't have all the hassles...." Read more
Customers are dissatisfied with the value of the ice pack. They say that it is not worth the price, and is a total waste of resources. Some say that the sachet is overkill for a lunch cooler and that it's nothing more than an average freezer pack.
"...It is good but not worth the high price." Read more
"...The freeze time alone makes this very impractical to use unless you plan on buying 5+ of them.As for how cold they keep drinks / food...." Read more
"...They did freeze! I think this one is overkill for a lunch cooler but it’s pretty good otherwise...." Read more
"...do as good as ice but was a lot simpler and easier, not to mention cheaper...." Read more
Customers are disappointed with the water resistance of the ice pack. They say that it remained liquid and did not freeze, turning to liquid by noon. This causes moisture buildup, which causes issues with some contents becoming soggy.
"...It stays liquid. Not sure why, as everything else in my fridge freezes solid. Big disappointment. I would like a replacement." Read more
"...Unfortunately, the third one I bought came almost halfway filled with liquid. Not happy with that, considering I bought the most expensive size...." Read more

"...after it had been in the freezer for over 24 hours and the ice pack was liquid as if it had just been put in. Would not recommend these do not work...." Read more

These are best for keeping frozen stuff frozen, not cold stuff cold—get the blue Chillin’ Brew series for that. The purple ones are good to get your ice cream home from the store, not to keep your lunch cold.
The temperature differential is too great to use these to keep things cold—these work around 5 degrees and cold things are generally above 32—all the work goes into getting the items colder rather than keeping them frozen.
Be sure you want a frozen food pack—these are what you want for that. They work well, come in good sizes, are rugged and won’t fail, and are made in the US.
It is good but not worth the high price.
Just 1 ice pack keeps my stuff cold all day!! If I bring my cooler indoors for the day, the ice pack will actually start to freeze my items.
With these ice packs, it's all about how you use them for its effectiveness!!
I read the description and realized these take longer to freeze, so I bought two, alternating use with these ice packs so they have time to refreeze between uses. It does take 2 days for them to freeze. But they work like a champ when frozen and used properly!!
I highly recommend!!
