If you are having the same trouble with you front suspension, this is what Honda recommends:
This bulletin applies to the 2011 Honda Odyssey. If a dull popping, knocking or creaking sound is heard at the front of the vehicle during low-speed turning, the probable cause involves the bump stop contacting the front damper body, or the damper shaft self-locking nut is loose.
Apply Shin-Etsu grease around the top of both front dampers, and re-torque the damper shaft self-locking nuts.
Raise the vehicle on a lift and allow the front dampers to fully extend. Lift up the damper dust covers to expose the damper body.
Apply a small amount (about 0.5 gram, or about one-half the size of a dime) of Shin-Etsu grease fully around the top of the damper body. NOTE: Do not grease the damper shaft.
Reinstall the damper dust covers. The bottom of the dust cover hooks onto the tabs at the base of the damper body.
Used it on the master cylinder shaft gasket circumference.
I wouldn’t say it can completely restore the seals back to original condition, but it did make the cabin noticeably quieter at highway speeds.
Could the whispers about this magical silicone grease from Tokyo, Japan possibly be true?!?!?
Does this stuff do what they claim it does? The answer is YES! This silicone grease works BEAUTIFULLY to moisturize, restore and revitalize all of the weatherseals on my 2017 V6 Accord Touring (now they were actually in pretty good condition already but this product made them even better somehow anyways!). This silicone grease is greasy when you first apply it but it's super easy to remove after you've given it sometime to be absorbed into the rubber. It wipes off clean but leaves behind moist, supply, revitalized weather seals behind.
I gave it 4 stars because i personally feel that $14.99 is a better price than $19.99 as most people will only use this once a year or only a handful of times while owning a car for 5-7 years.
Sorry for the long review, LOL. Get this stuff if you're curious about fixing leaking door seals or sunroofs or if you're interested in PREVENTING your weather seals from drying out and failing altogether.
The first time I applied, I made a mistake. I just applied with my finger (with rubber gloves). I literally rubbed into the weatherstrips. That was not the smartest idea. I wasted some grease. Someone suggested using an old sock little damp with a quick detailer and use it to apply. That worked well.
