Two snaps, snap in plug and snap into place.
NOTE: my Amazon Garage said it wouldn’t fit but gave it a shot because returns are so easy. … glad I did and it works!

Anyway I found this Hopkins one and decided to try to make it work. I'm happy to report that I was able to, and it looks great. I did have to buy some custom hardware to mount it, though. If I just bolted the included bracket directly to the bumper (and I mean the steel part inside the chrome bumper, which is how it is on mine anyway), the plug would have sat sort of inside the chrome bumper, and you wouldn't be able to open the little doors on it. I really didn't want to drill into my hitch receiver or the chrome bumper, so instead I went to the hardware store and got a couple bolts, washers, nuts, and two spacers about 1.5" if I remember. I bolted it to the steel bumper bar with the spacers between the bar and the bracket. Now it sits just below the edge of the chrome bumper and looks like it belongs.
The one caveat is that there was only one hole in the steel bar, and I didn't feel like figuring out how to drill another one (and I also have an default inclination not to permanently modify things if I can help it for whatever reason), so I actually only bolted one side to the bar, and on the other side I turned the bolt upside down so I had a flat surface at the top and just used the tension of the first bolt to keep the second one pressed tight up against the bottom of the bar. It doesn't move unless you really try to shove it. Just plugging in and unplugging the wires doesn't move it. So it's pretty much perfect.
Anyway the plug itself is high quality and even comes with dielectric grease already on the pins. It's an entirely different style than what was stock on my truck, but it looks great and is better anyway.
Both the 4-pin connector and the 7-pin one are driven off the circular plug on the harness. On my truck that means the original 4-pin connector is still wired up, but I zip tied it up out of the way. The pins were corroded on it anyway.
